Purchased the pencil for my iPad Pro and it functions very well. Lightweight, charges quickly and the battery life is great.

I think this is a must have for anyone that does a lot of writing or drawing. Geared more towards artists, but fun for those who want to dabble with drawing or writing as a new form of art. Love how it clips to the iPad making it very easy to charge. Only concern I have is when I'm traveling and I could potentially bump into something that would cause it to disconnect and get lost.

The new Apple Pencil makes writing and taking notes much easier. It’s user friendly and I love that all I need to do to charge it is put it in the pencil holder of my iPad case. I gifted one to my sister in law because she loves to draw and she told me it takes her drawings to a whole new level.

I haven’t used it that much due to not being an artist. But have used it to take notes and hi light things in my digital text book for school. I was originally worried as to how it would charge or if I had to get a new one if it died. But it just magnetizes to the edge of the iPad and instantly starts charging. I’m personally glad I got it. I think it’s over priced for what it is. Unless you use it way more than I do. Then it would seem reasonable. But a fantastic device like everything else Apple.

The pencil paired immediately with my iPad Pro by just placing it on the magnetic charging location. It stays there securely (under normal use) when I am not using it and is convenient to reach when I am ready to use it. I am not an artist, but have been using it as a general stylus for navigation and selecting and for drawing simple sketches. I have also tried “Scribble,” which converts handwriting to printed text, and found that it works well.

I basically updated my stuff, I had an iPad Pro 1st gen with and Apple Pencil. What I like about this new version is the ease of charging, since it doesn’t connect to the USB c port and attaches to the iPad magnetically is so much better to carry it around

This is not cheap and I do wish it was a little less slick feeling. However, this is the ultimate iPad companion, I would not use an iPad without one. I did try some generics from Amazon, just get the Apple, its much better.....

The Apple Pencil completed my setup for my iPad and keyboard to ensure it was able to provide a wide host of abilities. The Apple Pencil is simple to use and accurate while using. I tend to use it mostly for craft related tasks and it performs beautifully. The battery life is decent and it has a nice feel in the hand. If there are tasks you know you could use it for, don’t hesitate to add it to your setup!

Handles really well, battery life is long, I wish it felt more like a pencil when using it or something that connects it to the iPad to keep from losng it (sometimes it comes off magnet) o connecting it some how would be nice, of not put something but other than that it works well.

I love this device. It charges by snapping magnetically to the side of my iPad and is very responsive and accurate when drawing. I recommend trying a screen protector that is “paper-like” on your iPad when using the Apple Pencil- it makes drawing feel so much more natural. The only complaint I have is that there aren’t any replacement tips included like the first Gen had.

Why the heck did I buy this thing? I have no use for it but I figured I'd give it a shot. Honestly I don't even know where I put it. Save your money, skip this purchase. I gave it 4 stars because I don't have a reason to give it anything less or more. It's an Apple product so it's well designed. The few minutes I used it during set up, it was neat so yeah, maybe 4 stars because of that? Other than that, the majority of us won't have much use for it. Heck I dunno, maybe buy it and play around with it. Maybe you'll love it or maybe it'll be meh.

Best Stylus for the iPad Pro

Best stylus you can buy for the iPad pro. It easily charges by snapping to the top/side of your ipad and charges wirelessly. Works seamlessly with iPadOS, double tapping the pencil to change modes. Tips are replaceable and last a long time. Pencil battery is plenty and I haven't had any instance where it died on me, but I also use the ipad to "store" the pencil so it does charge frequently.

Love this pencil and the fact that it charges wirelessly. I don’t have to plug it in and there’s no batteries that might go dead. Partially dictated the iPad model that I ended up purchasing

Second generation of the Apple Pencil

This new Apple Pencil works great...magnetized to lay right on top of the iPad Pro, 11” or the 12.9”. The iPad even keeps the pencil charged while attached to the iPad. I like the second generation better than the first generation because the second generation has a flat side so than it can be laid down on a table without rolling off. The first generation was completely round...you didn’t dare lay it down or it would be gone. I highly recommend this pencil.

I’m a photographer working with the iPad Pro (2018) and this is like my 4th or 5th pencil repurchase, but not because they’re bad quality and keep breaking, but because of my negligence in losing them and giving one away to my nephew who’s picking up digital art. If something happens to my pencil, I will SCRAMBLE to buy a new one because it’s just sooo integral to my workflow. I’d rather not have a stylus at all than work with any other stylus for the iPad Pro… but I’d MUCH rather just have the Apple Pencil always at hand because of how PERFECT it is to work with. The little to no latency, the glide of the tip on the screen, the ergonomic feel of it in the hand, it’s just toooo good!
