This is a great addition to my iPad Pro, but buyer beware, the Apple Pencil 2 will only work with select iPads. I use the pencil for work and it’s great for editing the maps I make as well as note taking. The flat side is a welcome addition so the pencil won’t roll off a table

Although on the expensive end, if you ever felt like you needed a stylus or a pencil for any of the work or activities that you do with your iPad Pro, then this is the top of the line. There are other more affordable pencils that can do most of what this pen does, but it's undeniable that the response time of this pencil is above and beyond other pencils. Other feature the Apple Pencil has over the competition is pressure sensitivity and a double tab to switch back and forth between pencil and eraser. The thing I love the most is the convenience of charging it by just sticking it to the side (through magnet) and ease of just pulling it out and using it at any time (in comparison to the first generation Apple Pencil).

I'm not a super keen on Apple and its devices, but this is a simple concept taken to a very polished and high-level. It's intuitive sure, but it's also a joy to work with. Scribbling, taking notes, doodling, working on illustrations, it's a smooth operator.

Nonetheless, for those invested in the Apple ecosystem and looking for top-tier performance, the Apple Pencil is hard to beat.

I didn’t realize how great the Apple Pencil is until it stopped working. (The only reason it is lacking a star.) I use it often and believe it is a connectivity issue. However, customer service was simple (I did it through text messaging!) and everything else is handled through the mail. I I did purchase the less expensive Logitech pencil as a back up, which is also great but nowhere near the quality and responsiveness as the Apple Pencil. Definitely recommend for those using an iPad Pro or iPad for art.

When we bought a 2021 12.9" ipad pro, the Apple pencil 2nd generation was recommended to us over other less expensive brands. It is easy to use, charges conveniently with a magnet on the latest ipad pro, and Best Buy had the lowest price. Highly recommended.

The pencil itself was fantastic. I really loved drawing on my iPad and I loved the charging orientation vs the first gen. The problem is, after a couple of years my pencil stopped charging and pairing with my iPad all together. I took it to Apple and they said they don’t really trouble shoot Apple pencils, they just tell you to get a new one. I did that and about two weeks later the new Apple Pencil stopped working as well. I took it to the store, they told me it was the Apple Pencil, yadda yadda. Essentially telling me that if these pencils sit in stock too long, their batteries can “go bad” even if they are new out of the package. So after returning the last one I decided to try my luck one more time, I bought one more Apple Pencil and guess what! The same exact thing happened after two -three weeks. I’ve been told over and over that it’s not my iPad and that it’s the pencils. I’m inclined to believe this because I’ve since bought a knock-off pencil and I haven’t had any trouble with it. I can’t use it for drawing because of the lack of pen pressure but at least I can do my schoolwork. Really disappointed because like I said, the Apple Pencil was wonderful when it was working and I did get a good few years off the first one.

2 words, PLANNED obsolescence!!! The product is just okay. I do like the fact that you can charge it directly on your ipad pro. i don't like the fact is that's the only way you can charge it. Doesn't have a Find Device featuere. These things can get lost super easy.

Pencil is a must It is very accurate for note taking and easy to use. I am glad I purchased this accessory it is very handy and good value.

Sure makes it a lot easier to make notes and know where they are stored. Love the ability of creating designs and all being in one place

I’m enjoying this expensive add-on….it’s an Apple product so it’s going to cost more. Works well with sketch/drawing apps. I haven’t discovered all it is capable of, but so far, for the money, it would be good at exactly 1/2 the price!

I didn't get this for my Mini iPad a year ago, but did get one for my wife's new iPad Pro. In retrospect, I should probably have gotten one for myself and while I still could, it is a tad pricey. The pencil is really nice and is conveniently held in place on the device. Still debating whether to get one for myself or steal my wife's.

I was very skeptical of buying this at first but after hearing and reading about it I had to give it a try. The ease of use is great. The battery charges quick and the magnetic hold is the cherry on top. If you are doing lots of animating or note taking this is a worthwhile investment.

Feels good and natural to write. It works great with the ipad pro. The only con - it doesn't stick to the ipad all too well. When you place it in your backpack, it will eventually fall off and disappear to the bottom of the bag. Great for artists.

ordered a refurbished apple pencil online for in-store pickup, but they couldn't find one at the store, so they gave me a new one at no additional charge, so that was pretty neat. anyway, the apple pencil is fun to write and draw with, maybe not as smooth as the surface pen with a rubber nib, but it still feels great.
