    I have both the 1st gen and the 2nd gen Apple pencil with the iPads I have owned. 2nd gen is much easier to carry around with your iPad with its magnet and charges at the same time. BUT, the downside is also the magnet as it can easily come loose when placed in your bag.

    I like my pen. It’s convenient for those who don’t prefer using their fingers for everything lol. In that aspect I like using it for my little drawing I do on an art app .

    To me it's an expensive pencil, but this was a gift to my husband. He is excited about this fancy stylist capabilities . I'm told it's great compliment to his I pad.

    This new version is really good. I just bought a paper like screen protector to see if it feels more like paper, but Im ver happy with its responsiveness.
