Charging this is easy as it goes on the side of the MacBook Pro. Sensitivity / controls are great.

We have had both first and second generation pencils and the second generation with its charging ability while tethered to the second generation iPad Pro is hands down a much better experience.

The best addition to my iPad air! It is light weight and writes so smooth even with a screen protector on the iPad!

Bought this as well as the new iPad Pro for my wife for Christmas. Not massively different than the gen 1, but has some cool new features not the least of which is the wireless charging. She's happy with it and that's all that matters to me.

I can't compare this to the first gen but it works great for its purpose. I like to use it to write my notes and also do some drawing/sketches when I'm bored

I love it so much. It is so easy to use and connect to my ipad. It has opened up a lot for me to do and create.

This is a huge upgrade than the 1st gen pencil. I love that I now don’t have to have it sticking out of the bottom of my iPad to charge. It also has a better feel to it.

The ability to change the thickness of the lines and the accuracy of the pen is great. Partnered with the iPad it makes such a great tool. If you are into art, it is a must have

I love it. Great investment. I use this with my iPad all the time. Helps me with grading, writing emails, and even coloring. Highly recommend. And the battery is pretty awesome.

Works perfect! Helps so much when I can write words and it goes to text. Only thing is if the pen had better instruments on connecting to iPad. There were better instructions on the iPad instructions.

The Apple Pencil Gen 2 is for more accurate and precise than it's predecessor. However, The Gen 2 only works with newer iPads.

I didn’t think I’d need or use this as much as I do. It’s a great accessory, and since it attaches magnetically to the iPad, it’s always accessible. Goods good in your hand, works great. It’s not a must-have, but I’m glad that I do.

This Apple Pencil comes in handy for using my iPad. More often than anything, I use it rather than my finger, particularly for tapping small things. It charges quickly, and stays put on top of my iPad, magnetically.
