I originally tried the cheaper pens with the iPad,but the sensitivity wasn't right. I have had no issues with this one and use it with good notes and drawing in procreate. Very smooth and easy to use.

It feels like your a writing with a real pencil. Easy to draw or take notes with.

So I waited to get an Apple Pencil for some time after I bought the iPad Pro because I didn’t feel I really needed it. I don’t draw much, I like typing notes, and signing PDFs can be done easily enough with a finger. There were a few apps like coloring apps where it would be nice, but not necessary. I decided to finally get one because I had some rewards and wanted to see if it was worth the money. I was so wrong about not wanting one. This thing is the best stylus experience on the Pro. It is super responsive, feels natural, and it is so nice to have a way to select things when I have the iPad with the attached keyboard on. I highly recommend one if you like to be able to select and color and write on the iPad with precision and styled nuance.

My first impression was this is another overpriced apple product but after just a couple minutes i quickly realized how unique, fun and well worth the money it is.

It really gives you the feel of writing and drawing! I’ve used other similar products and I’ll stick with apple.

I like it. I think there’s still a lot of improvements that Apple needs to take care of with its functionality with the iPad (capitalization with draw to text, a lot of Apple apps don’t have a clear clue on how to function when both skin and the tip of the pencil are touching the screen, etc). But I really love the feel and sturdiness of the 2nd generation. I would imagine this would be phenomenal for hardcore artists. The only thing I hate is the wireless charging. I wish I could charge the pencil with a wire or have the option to do so. Otherwise, it charges wirelessly on my iPad, which drains the battery of my iPad. And there is no option to have the pencil not charge while magnetized to the iPad.

I love taking notes or doodling with this pencil so I bought this one for my child for their iPad. The easy charging magnet holds it to the iPad and keeps it secure when not in use.

I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get my Apple Pencil 2 installed and paired with my new iPad Pro. But, it was easy to set up and so far it is working great. I love that it sticks to my iPad with the magnet.

It paired instantly, the ease of use is a huge plus. Helps with drawing and writing.

Great accessory, completes the package and charges on the Ipad awesome convenience.

I bought my pencil thinking I was only gonna use it for drawing. But with school i mostly just use it for notetaking. Its a a game chager. Be careful with the tip though.

I wasn't sure how much I would use this but it makes a really great mouse (although and expensive one) and I have used it a few times to make notes. I don't know that it is all that necessary for the casual apple user.

Good product though slightly expensive. Would recommend.

I was debating on whether or not I would get the Apple Pencil. I am so happy I did. It's come in handy for editing pictures and taking notes. Love that it attaches to the side of the iPad with a magnet and charges that way.

Not only are there gestures for switching between tools, but the Apple Pencil now recharges via magnetic strip along the side of the iPad Pro. This is a much better way of charging the Apple Pencil.
