Apple Pencil 2 for iPad Air 4 Good Expensive Bet

So far, it's allowed me to take notes and draw. This is probably just operator error, but the pencil does not feel as "sharp" while drawing/ painting- there's hopefully some other settings I can get to to help with this. Works well with the Logitech Folio Protector with trackpad- there's a space left open on the side of the iPad Air 4 where the Pencil fits magnetically and can charge. No problem connecting- followed Apple site directions.

One can use it to be extremely creative by writing notes, making amazing artwork etc. The important catch is that these can be used for original iPads only (even the newer model) and the new version of pencil can be used for iPad Pro - so be careful when picking this one.

Great for drawing

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After owning this pencil for a little less than 2 years, I would say it's definitely a great purchase as far as drawing on your iPad. Beware not to let it sit too long without charging (I'm talking weeks) as I believe that is what ultimately killed the battery in mine, which after talking to Apple tech, there seems to be no solution apart from getting it repaired or buying a new one... so get Apple care for it. Would definitely buy it again regardless.

Lousy directions for pairing to iPad.

The instructions on pairing the pencil to my new iPad were wrong. I checked Apple’s website for directions. I watched more than one. It showed to put the pencil on the SCREEN! I was NOT able to pair the two items. I had a teenager do it for me. She was able to do it by taping a few spots within the settings. And that the pencil is to have the flat side put on the right SIDE of the iPad NOT on the screen.
