I would say it's just liiiil bit expensive. But the magnet, the charging and how tiny this thing really is it's perfect combination for an iPad Pro (Only).

This is definitely how the Apple Pencil should have been from the very beginning! I love how it charges magnetically, it never has low battery and I’m never afraid to lose it.

I have mixed feelings about the Apple Pencil. In some ways, it is absolutely brilliant. The magnet aspect is amazing in my opinion. There are many capabilities that come with it. However, within a couple weeks of having it and dropping it a few times, I noticed that the tip was slightly chipped or degraded. Also, it is so frustrating sometimes how you cannot resize windows, swipe to the Home Screen, control center, notification screen, or access recently used apps screen with the Apple Pencil. Also, when using the scribble feature to write words into text boxes, good luck trying to do anything else because every time you do it will think you’re trying to write a word.

The newest iteration of the Apple Pencil pushes the envelope of what's possible with a digital stylus, providing users with an unparalleled level of precision and versatility for their creative projects. With its sleek design and enhanced functionality, it stands as a testament to Apple's commitment to innovation in the realm of digital artistry and productivity. However, the journey to unlocking its full potential isn't without its challenges. Setting up the Apple Pencil can be a bit of a headache, with users reporting difficulties in pairing it with their devices and getting it to work seamlessly from the get-go. This hiccup, while frustrating, seems to be a minor speed bump on the road to harnessing the full capabilities of this powerful tool. Once connected, the Apple Pencil impresses with its responsiveness and the smoothness of its interaction with the iPad's surface, making digital drawing, writing, and note-taking feel more natural and intuitive than ever before. The Apple Pencil's precision and pressure sensitivity are top-notch, allowing for a wide range of artistic expressions, from delicate sketches to bold strokes. Its compatibility with various apps further enhances its utility, making it an essential tool for artists, designers, and anyone looking to elevate their digital creation experience. Despite the initial setup woes, the Apple Pencil's performance post-pairing justifies the effort, offering a level of control and fluidity that mimics the traditional pen-and-paper experience, but with all the advantages of digital innovation. For those willing to navigate the initial setup process, the Apple Pencil emerges as a game-changer in how we interact with our devices, bridging the gap between technology and creativity with elegance and precision.

Absolutely love this Apple Pencil. It’s really nice to the charge is magnetically connected to the iPad and you don’t have to use the lollipop method to charge it. I would mention that there are many offbrand competitors that are a fraction of the cost of this product. Some are fairly good and mimic the same features of this item. Depending on how much you plan to use the pencil, it may make sense to look into those.

    Essential accessory for iPad Pro

This is a great purchase if you have any iPad, but if you have one of the second generation iPad Pro models this really is a must buy. When you consider the relative price of the pencil to its utility I believe Apple should move to include the pencils in the top end iPad pros. Realistically I can’t imagine spending over $1500 on a new iPad Pro and not receiving the custom stylus. That being said, this is the best stylus I have used and the way it sticks to your iPad the same way an Apple Watch charger sticks will make you smile. (Ps if you are pursuing artistic endeavors with your iPad there is no choice, get one)

I bought this Apple Pencil because I purchased the IPad Pro 12.9 and wanted to still use the Apple Pencil. The 1st generation is not compatible, so I had no choice lol. I like the fact that there is not a cap on this one. I never lost it on my 1st generation, but it is nice to not have to worry about losing it. I also like the fact that the pencil charges on the IPad, The magnet keeps it attached very well and I really don’t fear losing it. This pencil has shortcuts which is nice and the writing is much smoother than the 1st generation. I would definitely recommend this product.

This stylus is great for anyone who is interested in getting involved with digital art or wants to write things on their iPad. Most drawing apps work to utilize its features, something I appreciate being a beginner artist. Also, it works great with the iPad with palm rejection. So it is great for lefties like me whose hand smudges with some pens. This is also lighter than the old Apple Pen which makes it more like a regular pen to hold. The only thing I don't like is that I had to buy another stylus for my new iPad since the old one doesn't work. However the upgrades are nice.
