Purchased with a mew iPad Pro. This is a great upgrade from the 1st generation. Magnetically attaching to the side of the iPad is very useful

I have been a fan of the Apple Pencil for several years now. This 2nd generation is smoother to use as well as WAAAY easier to charge and store than the 1st generation.

I enjoy doing artwork on my ipad and this pencil made it a worlds worth of easier. I have used many styluses with my old tablet, and I realized just having the proper equipment can make things less work and more fun!

The only realistic choice for artists using iPad Pro or Air. Unfortunately the white plastic is a bit soft, and can get permanently worn by small metal where it magnetically attaches to the iPad. And the price is a bit questionable as well. But it works flawlessly.

First time using Apple’s tablet writing abilities and they don’t disappoint. Love how this is charged with magnetically attaching to the iPad. It works great.

I've got larger hands so being able to write notes instead of trying to type them on the awkward iPad keyboard is very helpful. Also, make sure you check compatibility with your iPad. This won't work with the newer iPad Pro.

Grabbed this to go with my shiny, new iPad Pro. Works just like the real thing, and I love that it charges wirelessly. If I had to gripe about anything, it would be the price. These should be included with iPad Pros as a standard accessory, but that's Apple for you! Either way, great pencil and a great purchase nonetheless. It certainly makes drawing and taking notes so much easier on the iPad Pro. Word of caution, it does not work very well with a glass screen protector. It feels too "slippery." I opted to go with a matte screen protector, and it feels like I am actually writing on paper.

I bought this for the new iPad Pro (11"). It docks and charges on the iPad as designed. Great design by Apple. The pencil works flawlessly with the graphic design software.

It’s expensive for a pencil...yes. But, I can honestly say that it was worth the purchase. My problem in the past with stylus is that they do not smoothly go across the screen, there is latency in the time I write vs the time it actually shows up on the screen, and my hand would inevitably touch the screen a mess everything up. With the Apple Pencil I have none of those problems. It runs smoothly across my iPad, the response is almost instantaneous, and best of all, many applications support the option to have your hand gestures do different things than pencil motions. So for example if I am drawing and want to rest my hand on the iPad like I would with paper, then I can, and the iPad will only look for the pencil when drawing. Also, in many applications I can do things like scroll or zoom with my hand, and then write with the pencil. The way apple has separated how their devices react differently between your hand and the pencil makes it worth the price.
