My old 1st generation pencil drove me crazy on my old iPad. Trying to keep track of the cap and the charging dongle was ridiculous. Having to plug it in separately was a pain. I like the 2nd generation pen--how it attaches to the iPad for charging and storage, no dongle, no separate charging hookup--it's a big improvement.

I recently upgraded my iPad Pro so I had to upgrade my pencil as well. I prefer the feel of the first generation pencil over this once because it feels more natural and not like a primary school pencil. It takes some getting used to if you’re coming from the previous pencil. However, I do love the super fast charging and the fact it magnetically attaches to the iPad. The first generation pencil didn’t charge as fast and was awkward when plugging it into the iPad to charge. Overall, great buy and it’s still the best pencil on the market.

Perfect for the iPad! It’s easy to learn to use and I love the ability to charge and store this pen magnetically so it doesn’t need a case of it own.

If you get the new IPad you must get this. Works great and just stays on the side of the IPad so you don't loose it. Very handy to have,

It is so easy to use. So easy to set up. No lag time. It is amazing to be able to draw things almost like it is a pencil and paper. Shading and everything.

If your buying an iPad Pro the new Apple Pencil is a must have- there is no lag and it is so easy to start using with a very little learning curve.

I bought this as an open box pencil and I am not disappointed! It works perfectly and is compatible with my screen protector. I got a $130 retail value Apple Pencil for only $80…a steal!

Easy to use, auto connected to new iPad Pro. Only flaw so far is that the tip falls off…lost one today. Have to purchase replacement tips after only 2 weeks.

A must have to keep your iPad screen clear from all finger oils ,and great for art work and notes

Love this pencil , I had the original one with an older iPad and I got to say this one hands down is a better option. Plus the way you charge it is way better than all the run around with the older one, feel sorry for people who bought the new 10th gen iPad and have to do that entire circus, do yourself a favor skip that iPad and pencil and get this one and a newer iPad .

If you own an iPad and use it for school, this pencil is a game-changer. It makes signing documents and annotating notes easier and more convenient. I don't have to carry my books all the time anymore. Heck, I don't even but physical books anymore. It saves me $60 a book in my Nursing program and it pays for itself overtime (the pencil)
