The pencil is white as pictured and about 8” long as expected. It is made by Apple so it works well with the Apple products it was designed to work with. It probably won’t work with devices it was not designed to work with. If you want a black or purple pencil this is not for you. If you’re looking for a pencil to work with Android devices this is not for you. If you need a hammer to drive nails this is not for you. It could be used to stir creamer in your coffee but do this at your own risk. I do recommend this if this is the product you’re looking for.

The pen is great. Got it as a gift for my girlfriend who uses a lot of the drawing and creating applications. The gesture controls are great to have. She’s also tried many of the cheaper pens and they don’t compare.

The Apple Pencil is precise and responsive, making drawing and writing on an iPad feel natural. Its pressure sensitivity and tilt recognition enhance creativity, ideal for artists and note-takers. Easy to charge and pair, it's a valuable tool for iPad users.

This apple pencil synced to my iPad without me having to prompt the setup myself. So essentially ready to go and sync right out of the box. The Apple Pencil works smoothly on my iPad with a gentle touch without scratching the screen. The writing I've done with the Apple Pencil is very fluid and feels very natural when in use. I've used this in editing photos for my clients via Adobe Creative Suite and wow! I feel that it speeds up my editing with precision and fluid smoothness. I highly recommend!

Don't remember how I used my ipad without a pencil. The ease of use for journaling, annotating what I read, highlighting words or paragraphs, it feels natural in my hands... I have one pencil for every ipad... =)

This pencil holds its' charge for a long time even when not used. I have gone for about 2-3 weeks of non use and it still has some charge left. The charge port on the side of the I-pad is kind of awkward. the pencil comes off easily and could get lost, but it attaches easily, no adapters to mess with. It seems to work better than the first generation pencil I had. It operates more like a real pencil. Overall, I am very happy with it so far.

The Apple Pencil 2 is an excellent stylus for use with Apple devices, particularly the iPad Pro. It offers a much more natural writing and drawing experience compared to other styluses on the market, thanks to its precision and low latency.
One of the standout features of the Apple Pencil 2 is its pressure sensitivity, which allows for a more nuanced and realistic drawing experience. It also has tilt support, which allows for more precise shading and control when drawing.
One of the main competitors to the Apple Pencil 2 is the Microsoft Surface Pen, which also offers pressure sensitivity and tilt support. However, the Apple Pencil 2 feels more responsive and natural to use, and the overall drawing experience is more seamless.
Another competitor is the Wacom Bamboo Ink, which has a more traditional pen-like design and offers similar pressure sensitivity and tilt support. However, it is not as precise or responsive as the Apple Pencil 2, and does not offer the same level of integration with Apple devices.
Overall, the Apple Pencil 2 is a top-performing stylus that offers a highly enjoyable and intuitive drawing experience. If you have an Apple device and are in the market for a stylus, the Apple Pencil 2 is definitely worth considering.

This is a very nice stylus but your really paying for the brand. If you aren’t dead set on pairing your iPad with an Apple Pencil, I’m sure there are plenty of cheaper options that will perform just as well.
