Definitely recommend the 2nd Gen pencil as it is easy to use and can be charged magnetically. Wish it was still a bit grippier, but it works well overall for drawing and writing.

I’ve been using the Apple Pencil (2nd generation) daily for drawing, note-taking, and photo editing—and it has completely transformed how I use my iPad. Love this product. It's like a real pencil/ marker/ paintbrush. can get small details. It is easy to charge, just put it on on the edge of the iPad. It sticks pretty good. My only complaint is sometimes it "falls'" off the iPad in my bag or around the house and I panic that I've lost it. In fact, I bought this pencil to replace the one I thought I lost. But which I found under the couch a month later. Good news is I gave that one to my son and he's super happy with the detail for his iPad art. To be on the safe side to not lose it again I keep it in my pencil case, then charge it when I need it. It charges super fast and is ready to use in minutes.

This Apple pencil is a great addition to the iPad Pro 12.9. Not only is it good for drawing, coloring, and writing notes, it really helps navigate the large screen of the 12.9 iPad pro. Charging is a breeze with the magnetic attachment to the iPad Pro. Charges quickly too.

Much easier to charge than the first gen Apple Pencil. Flat side keeps the pen from rolling off my desk and on to the floor where my dog can chew it up. Feels natural in my hands and works beautifully with Procreate.

My 11 inch iPad Pro is a surface I use to sketch ideas for other media art projects. The pencil fixes to the side of this tablet, I am never left hunting around for the pencil that is always charged. It is far superior to the odd charging of the prior pencil.

This is the only pen that truly works with sensitive pressure required for hand lettering such as calligraphy. Very easy to use, charges right on my iPad and the battery lasts for a long time. Also charges fairly fast.

A definite must if you own an iPad. I love this tool for taking notes on my iPad. It has really changed how I do things at work. It writes flawlessly and smoothly. Spend your money on this accessory instead of the Magic $$ Keyboard.

The Apple Pencil 2 is Apple's best Pencil by far. With a range of features like pressure sensitivity, double-tap to change tools and Apple Pencil hover. Pairing and charging is straightforward , as it magnetically attaches to the long edge of the iPad, and it is ideal for creative work. I prefer this pencil with my iPad to cheaper alternatives due to comaptibility

This Apple Pencil goes hand and hand with the Apple iPad 10th generation. I have been using this pencil every semester and it has never let me down, especially with its battery life.

Absolutely love the versatility having then pencil brings. I was struggling between going digital and still loving to write things down. The pencil has helped bridge that gap. I'm able to write things down and still get the mental satisfaction of handwritten notes but everything is kept digitally. Win. It has yet to go below 75% battery life and I write A LOT. It not too heavy and feels nice in your hand. I did purchase some replacement nibs directly from Apple. Not too pricey I think $20 for 4. I didn't want to not be able to use my pencil if one needed to be replaced. But so far it still writes and feels like the first day after almost 2 mos of consistent daily use. I would definitely recommend this if you're thinking you'd like one. Just go for it. I'm happy I did.
