After using the Apple Pencil for nearly 2 months, I must say that I thoroughly enjoy using it with my iPad Air. While you certainly don't need it to use the device, and it is rather expensive, I must say that it greatly expands what you can do with the device. Between more options to navigate through iPad OS, and the apps and utilities it opens, it is a great tool to get more out of your iPad. It definitely isn't perfect for every user, but for those who can enjoy it, it is absolutely worth it.

I bought this to use with my new iPad Pro. Set up was a bit complicated, but didn’t take too long. I use it to make quick notes and mark up documents. It works great and is always charged as the pencil attaches to the iPad via magnet.

So easy to use. Just connected it to my iPad and it worked perfect.

I got this to play around but have been using it much more than expected. Its easy and fun to use. I use it mainly for coloring and editing pictures. Watch out for the front tip falling off. It fell off and I didn't realize it for a little while. Luckily it didn't go far and I found it quickly.

Purchased the Apple Pencil Gen 2 to go with the Apple iPad Air Gen 4. Smooth and seamless connection to the iPad. I enjoy how it charges the pencil wirelessly by magnetically attaching to the side of the iPad. Works great with drawing apps and as a stylus.

Bought the 2nd generation Apple Pencil to go along with my iPad Air. The pencil is comfortable to hold and unlike the 1st generation it magnetically attaches and charges to the side of the iPad. Writing is smooth and with scribble added in iPadOS14 it expands what you can do with the pencil.

There’s not much to say other than that it’s the Apple Pencil, it works very well. I love the tilt feature and the pressue sensitivity feature. i’m not an artist, but I use it for multitasking. It’s excellent for taking notes quickly on the go and marking up documents. When you go to make your next iPad purchase, I would just go ahead and pick up an Apple Pencil and if you purchase AppleCare at the same time, AppleCare will cover it if it stops working or it gets damaged. Definitely recommend. 

The Apple Pencil is as expected. Works seamlessly with apple products. Connects easily to my iPad Air and battery lasts a long time. Wirelessly charges with my iPad which is a huge plus for me. I would recommend this for your iPad the extra money is worth it compared to other generic stylus.

Amazing for drawing on tablet and writing easily charges against my iPad

I wasn't expecting much, but immediately after I took it out of the box and felt it, I knew I completely underestimated this product. It immediately paired to my iPad and charged extremely fast. No lag, whatsoever, and the ingenuity inside of this pen is way ahead of any other products.

I upgraded when my first gen pen died. I am very glad I did! This pen works flawlessly with my iPad Pro 12.9 6th gen. The kids also love to color and draw using it. I highly rerecommend buying one.

Don't think of it as an accessory, think of this as a tool. Once you use it, you'll be glad that you bought it. Charging it is a snap and it's so easy to use. It's great if you like to draw and just as good if you just want to use it to navigate through your iPad.

I love my Apple Pencil! I use it all the time I can’t imagine using Pages or Acrobat without it. Awesome battery power, easily attaches to iPad and there’s cool sleeves to personalize it. I will also comment Best Buy’s service is always at an all time high when it comes to customer satisfaction. Thanks Best Buy!

After trying both the first generation and now the new version, I am glad they fixed all the shortcomings of the older version. The pencil is a lot nicer to hold, wireless charging and no longer have the cap and weird way to charge the pencil. Definitely worth the upgrade if you have the newer iPad Pros!

A bit expensive for a pen but it works great! Sleek and looks great. Love that it fits magnetically to the ipad.

Bought this mostly to use for procreate with my new iPad and I love it. Super easy and charges just by placing next to the iPad. I bought a case for my iPad that has a spot for the pen so you never have to worry about it getting lost and it charges while it is just in the case. Perfect!

Writes just like a real pencil, very simple to use and when you are done using it, it magnetically connects back to your iPad making it hard to lose.

I was skeptical of an Apple Pencil before buying one today, this thing is amazing. I felt like I was using an actual pencil and writing is so much fun! Drawing is very enjoyable with this and even coloring as a relaxing activity. It is still on the expensive side for my taste but very high quality and good battery life!

Apple Pencil (Gen 2 model) is the best pencil out there, IMHO. It’s best and most appealing feature is it’s ability to charge while being magnetized. Period. Hands down. No charger. No USB-C plug, no Bluetooth connection needed, no wifi connection needed. I simply attach it to the iPad it’s connected to and boom. Charges. I wondered if it had to be connected to the iPad. No. It doesn’t. Because my iPad was in use with a movie and I needed it for a project on my Mac and the battery was low. I attached to the refrigerator and in 15 min. Boom again. I had enough of s charge to continue my project and finish it within an hour. Best. Stylus. Pencil. Coloring marker. Highlighter. EVER If you still have the Gen 1 pencil. Put it down and go get s new one. It’s worth the upgrade. Don’t be stingy. You deserve the best. Period. Once again: Apple delivers.

Love my apple pencil 2. It is a fun accessory. I love the Apple 2 pencil because it charges right beside my Ipad versus Apple 1 pencil having to plug into the port and stick out from the device.
