I had been using my iPad Pro without the pencil for about the first 34 days. Had I known how great and much easier the Apple Pencil would make things for me I would have purchased it immediately. Luckily I got the Gen 2 for $99 when I decided to give it a go. It is amazing to use when I am use numerous apps like Notability (My Favorite App), Sketches for my son to draw, Adobe Fill & Sign, Procreate, Shapr3D, AutoCAD, MagicPlan, Fusion360, and TinkerCad just to name a few LOL. Notability has my day to day workflow so much easier as I am able to capture of image of one of my computer screens and use it to crossout files after I exchange them and also notate issues where they are occuring. It was difficult trying to use a pen and I felt like the third party products just did not work as well. Included a pic of my with my horrible handwriting notating some things I need to do to one of my RC trucks. Although I can agree the price is way too high for the product as it stands. I believe wholeheartedly that the Pencil should be no more than $45. But if you have seen Mr. Robot than Apple = E-Corp. Simple as that.

Works great! Pressure sensitivity is perfect and it feels great to hold. It’s just very slippery and gets lost easily. The magnetic strip is very helpful, but it’s not perfect.

Don’t use the pen much but when taking notes it is much easier than typing

Works as it should. The logo on the side does rub off and the side were it charges did collect quite a-few scratches after some wear and tear-I have had this for about a year however.

I received the Apple keyboard for my apple pro and it works amazing. I also received the Apple pen and I use it every day.

My son loves his pen he uses it all the time ......

Love this new Apple Pencil. It’s just a good as the 1st gen but much better with the flat side for holding and wireless magnetic charging.

I've tried the knock off and they work but NOT as well as this one. It's SO MUCH BETTER

It's fairly straightforward to use, it's got a great minimalistic design, feels good in my hand, is very powerful (about as powerful, if not more powerful, as Wacom's best drawing tablets) and with new iPads, you can see hover effects with the Pencil. All in all a no-brainer for people who want to take notes or who are digital artists on an iPad.
