This is the 2nd Gen pencil from Apple. I have used aftermarket items and they do not hold a candle to the quality, feel, and responsiveness of the true Apple Pencil. This pencil is worth the money, if you are teetering between the first gen and second, get the second. If you are looking at cheaper aftermarkets, they are cheaper and you will end up disgruntled and unsatisfied. Buy it and you will be glad you did...at least I am.

It’s my first Apple Pencil , and it works well. It’s easy to switch between pencil and eraser. I like the option to choose wether your fingers make notes on documents or not , so you can scroll with your hand and only use the pencil to write on them . I love handwriting words and have the program recognize them easily . I’m very pleased with the functionality so far .

This stylus connects by just putting it in the iPad. It is always charged. It also has great accuracy!

I am a student and this makes so much easier to type notes without carpal tunnel. Im used to writing everything down and being able to do that digitally and access my notes from my phone even if i dont have my ipad is amazing 10/10

Very sleek, little heavy, easy to use and set up was very easy as well. Sometimes my tip acts up although very thankful it comes with a new tip and the charger port connector.

This is my first Apple pencil and I was curious how it would work with my latest iPad Pro 12. It is flawless and I can't think of anything negative. The magnetic attachment is perfect and you don't have to struggle to take it off. It re-attaches without an issue. The pencil makes it so much easier to fill forms and sign documents. Life is easier and this is a great product.

Feels like a heavy pencil or like a premium longer pen. Pair seamlessly with the iPad air 4th gen and it's great for note taking. Depending on the app, it will treat lines that are erased when erasing a portion of the line, or as what you'd normally expect and erase a portion of the line. Wish that the eraser function was activated by using the opposite end of the tip in the pencil.
