Better then the first generation, wireless charging, magnetic and tap button feature make it. Also if you get a new iPad, Apple gets you by making your first generation obsolete so it’s the only option when you buy a new iPad…

Charges quickly and conveniently I have an iPad cover that provides a space to clip in the pen. This way it is constantly charging.

I wasn't sure I'd need or even use the pencil, but I do use it all the time. With Notes (or an app of a good, similar name) it's like writing with a pen. Drawing is easy too. Be careful about the iPad Pro case you're buying, you'll want to be sure there's a space for the pencil to charge. It just lays on top of the iPad.

Good project had big scraches on the top so unexpected for open box and the battery was doa but when it charged it works good

This is very easy to use and easily connects and charges with my iPad Pro. My daughter has the first Gen pencil and the improvements here are great. I didn’t think I would use it that much but it’s been so convenient to have and now I love it!

Do not know what happened to the old Pencil - but the replacement is far less expensive than the original pen purchased over a year ago. Love the consistency of Apple Products

It was as I expected, BRILLANT! I already had experience with the tool. I was just was waiting on the opportunity to have one of my own.

I recently added the Apple Pencil (2nd Gen) to my iPad toolkit, and it's been a fun and creative experience. LOVE my apple pen. There are times when I leave it at home and feel lost without it. I have not had any problems with it and the battery is pretty durable.

Truly great product. Never been much of an artist, but got this for my birthday recently and have dabbled in the app ‘Procreate’ and I’m amazed at the precision of the Apple Pencil. Pretty expensive but worth it if you think you’ll get even a moderate amount of use out of it.

Pencil works as expected and good for drawing on your ipad. A bit too expensive, IMHO.

If you own an Ipad this accessory is a must. Works just like a real pencil responsive and comfortable to use all day. Notes and drawings require the right tool and this is it.

Wife loves having the pen for her iPad. It helps with coloring, writing, and even just moving things around.
