Works perfectly as most (all) apple products do, but make sure you really need it cause it's crazy expensive.

Bought these apple pencil and am still trying to figure out ways to use it. Not very useful. Lacks apps! Not worth $150! I wouldn’t recommend it. Has a good magnetic grip but your very likely to loose it due to the placement of it on your Ipad. Had to buy a cover for my Ipad that would hold the pencil securely to protect it. I actually lost the Apple Pencil the 4day of use. Luckly I was able to find it on the floor. I wouldn’t recommend buying this product due to price and lack of ingenuity.

The best stylus on the market hands down. Apple did a very good job of the accuracy and feel of this stylus for the iPad. It’s works very smooth and the latency is very low. When you draw, it picks it right up, no lag. I’m using it on an 2020 iPad Pro 12.9”. I love that you can charge the pencil directly from laying it on the top of the ipad where the magnets are. This is how you also pair it upon first opening it. Very simple pairing process, it just works. The pencil has some weight to it, you definitely feel it in your hands when holding it, the quality is good also. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. The material the pencil is made of is a gray/whitish smooth material that feels like you could rub/bump it against something and the white won’t come off. Overall, I had a third party stylus from Amazon that worked with my iPad Pro 12.9” but it wasn’t nearly as smooth and reliable like Apple’s pencil option and I had to charge it via USB C. With Apple’s pencil, it charges on the iPad so conveniently out of the way with any cords. It’s an all enclosed design, meaning there are no charging ports on it. I feel like for most things, Apple’s in house home cooking solution is the best route to go, even paying a little more for something. I’m glad I bought this on sale, I would look for Amazon Prime Day deals or Black Friday to get a really good sale. Also, if you don’t mind buying used, Best Buy used/refurbished is a good cheaper option. Enjoy. Apple has also added some more features to the pen for upcoming Fall 2022 iOS16 iPadOS release, I’m beta testing it now.

I bought it as a Christmas gift and arrived just in time. My daughter loves it. Bought the Ipad Pro 12.9 together with the pen.

I think the Apple pen two is super innovative and definitely worth the purchase if you draw professionally or even for fun!

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it!

As a digital artist, I use the Apple Pencil primarily to illustrate in procreate. It hands down beats my Wacom tablet! It has a great weight and feel, is super accurate with alignment and pressure. I love the simplicity and the fact that it charges by just magnetically clipping to the side of the iPad Pro. Only downside would be the double tap feature switches my pen to erase... sometimes my jostling of the pencil in my hand makes it switch inadvertently- while other times I try to switch it by double tapping and it takes a few tries. Just a minor gripe though, and I’m sure there’s probably a way to change the settings that I have been to lazy to figure out. Also, if it wasn’t for my illustrations im not sure when else I would use this. You can use it to take notes or convert handwriting to text or just use the pencil to point to things instead of your finger... but I’d have a hard time recommending such an expensive item for just those uses. If you like to draw or paint digitally, however- this pencil is a must!
