It charges by just placing it on the side of your iPad Pro. Much better than the Apple Pencil first edition.

The Apple Pencil manufacturers warranty is only one year, so you’re forced to buy another if it breaks. The geek squad guy, he was great and he didn’t charge me labor even though if I came in on the geek squad side versus Apple service he could’ve easily charged me half an hour. Overall very pleased. It’s the only thing in the universe better than Samsung‘s S pen.
