No latency, smooth writing. Also it feels really good in your hand as you use it. And the double tap feature that switches between tools is far more useful than I thought it would be! Only downsides are the price, and the fact that it won’t work with any other devices, so my iPhone and my girlfriend’s older iPad are useless with it.

I love the improvements they’ve made to the pencil. It attaches to the device’s side and even charges there. It’s easier than ever to charge this way, too. The pencil has a nice hefty weight to it that I love as its perfect for drawing. Definitely a fan of the double tap to switch between tools in apps. So far I have no complaints.

Great for writing notes in college. The amount i write and the world we live in, its easy to use an ipad and this pencil to get notes done, without worrying about an outlet. This pencil changes while its connected, so it super convenient.

As someone who frequently uses their iPad Pro for both personal and professional purposes, I can confidently say that the Apple Pencil (2nd Generation) is worth the investment. While it may be pricier than some other stylus options on the market, the precision and ease of use are unmatched. The seamless connection and quick charging capability make it a breeze to use, and the ability to switch between tools and adjust line thickness with ease allows for a truly customizable drawing or writing experience. The touch sensitivity is incredibly accurate, and the tilt functionality allows for shading and intricate detail work. Whether you're a professional artist or just someone who enjoys taking handwritten notes, the Apple Pencil (2nd Generation) elevates your digital experience to a whole new level. While it may be a bit of a splurge, the quality and functionality more than justify the cost.

I think the pencil is a great tool to have. I love that it charges with the iPad, it magnetizes right on the side, it has a flat side. I think that flat side is helpful when holding it in your hand. It also has some weight to it so it makes the experience more enjoyable. Love the tapping on the flat side feature to switch the tools. There is no lagging or skipping when writing or highlighting on the ipad.

Must have if your into drawing/designing the ease of use and setup is super streamlined and the feel/weight of the pen feels just right in the hand the added tap and gestures make it essential in certain apps like procreate.

Easy to pair to the new iPad that I just purchased at the same time. I like that the iPad can be setup to respond to pencil touches differently than when you use your fingers to scroll for example. Long battery life, and love how it stores right next to the iPad by a magnetic pull within the protective case.

Apple Pencil works right out of the box. Sticks right to the right side of your iPad when not in use. And charges when attached. Great for anyone looking to write or use it to navigate your iPad. Great for artists. You can draw or sketch anything. Would highly recommend!

It is as close as writing on paper as you can get. The second version fixed many of the flaws from the first generation, especially the charging issue and the storage issue. The magnet will come off when in your backpack, but otherwise I never have to worry about charging my pencil anymore. I did damage my tip, but those are easily and cheaply replaced. This is a must have utensil for iPads.

I love the new design of the Apple Pencil 2 and the fact you no longer need to deal with charging via a Lightning Port. The Apple Pencil 2 charges magnetically along the side of the iPad Pro. It also pairs to the iPad through via the magnet making set up a breeze. Writing and drawing are all wonderful to do. Some downsides include the price/durability. The pencil itself is sturdy, but at some point I dropped the pencil and the tip became damaged/unusable. Apple sells replacement tips (4 for $19.99) and they're easy to replace, but when you're already spending $129 on a device you expect it to hold up a little longer and not have to spend an extra $20.

Love this so much more than the 1st generation. Set-up is a breeze; Battery lasts longer; response is near flawless; writing is smooth, but almost too smooth so I added a rubber grip and a matte screen, but that’s just for my personal preference and comfort. I use my pencil for work and personal (approx 8+ hours/day). I love how it attaches to the iPad Pro for wireless charging/connectivity however, I wish the attachment was more secure as I am constantly “losing” my pencil, so I added a separate case to hold the pencil. My complaints are that the double-tap to switch feature seemed that it got in the way more than it satisfied any need while writing notes or drawing; and the 2nd generation pencil does NOT come with any replacement tips whereas the 1st generation does. Depending on your use and frequency, you may want to purchase backups to have on hand. Due to the frequency of use and methods of use, as well as the matte screen, I seem to go through tips quite often. They aren’t expensive and available from places other than Apple so it’s not a deal-breaker but I did appreciate that the 1st generation included them in the set.

Apple Pencil generation works great with the iPad mini 6. Cases for the Mimi 6 are available with a pencil holder which automatically charges the pencil. Great for drawing, scribbling,, taping the onscreen keyboard, gaming and so much more. Easy setup.. it automatically connects. Better than using your finger. The only negative is that the price.

Works wonderfully and with the ipad air, I never lose it, it just sticks right on and charges without additional cables. Wish I had bought into apple products sooner. I use this for drawing, note-taking, and everyday use. With drawing, it works well and the double-tap feature to swap between writing tip and eraser is really helpful.

*Disclaimer This does NOT work on apples. First I tried on a McIntosh, because I mean c'mon, it's a given! When that failed I thought maybe it was lacking something so I hit it with Pazazz, but that fell flat like Granny Smith in her Gravenstein. I even saw a Pink Lady in the Gala but still it failed. After all that disappointment I gave up and have just been using it on my iPad. And yeah, sure, it's like better than any stylus or tablet pen I've ever used with like a bajillion levels of sensitivity and touch sensors. The weight is great, it's comfortable to use for long periods and it charges wirelessly. Like DOPE!!. but still.. I was really hoping to write an ode to Newton on his native fruit.

This Apple Pencil 2nd gen is a remarkable tool that elevates the iPad experience to new heights. Its sleek design, seamless connectivity, and impressive responsiveness make it a must-have accessory for artists, designers, and note-takers alike. The magnetic attachment and wireless charging feature add convenience, while the double-tap gesture for switching tools enhances productivity. Although it comes with a premium price tag, its performance and integration with iPadOS make it worth the investment for those seeking precision and fluidity in their digital workflows.

The Apple Pencil 2 has made editing on my iPad Pro a breeze! Much more precise than my finger, and the double-tap to erase feature saves so much time in the long run. It literally sticks to the side if you’re iPad Pro magnetically, which takes care of storage AND that’s how it charges! You’ll never have a dead Apple Pencil. This is a must-have tool if you use your iPad Pro for editing, design, or note-taking!

Since I bought a 4th generation iPad Pro, I needed a new Apple Pencil as my old one wouldn’t work. This has the same, if not better functionality. Very intuitive in Procreate. I love the fact that it attaches to the iPad magnetically and is always fully charged and ready to use. (My ZAGG Rugged case & keyboard protect the pencil from ever falling off and getting lost.)

I love how naturally the pencil attaches to the size bezel of the iPad. Charging is seamless and it feels so natural to use. There's a slight, almost imperceptible resistance at the point which gives the feeling of gliding across a sheet of paper. What a cool addition to your iPad!

I’ve been using the Apple Pencil (2nd generation) daily for drawing, note-taking, and photo editing—and it has completely transformed how I use my iPad. The pressure sensitivity and tilt support are super accurate, and the double-tap feature to switch tools is a total time-saver. It charges magnetically on the side of the iPad, so I never lose it or forget to charge it. Whether you’re a student, creative, or just like to stay organized, this is hands down one of the best accessories Apple makes.
