I think the pencil is a great tool to have. I love that it charges with the iPad, it magnetizes right on the side, it has a flat side. I think that flat side is helpful when holding it in your hand. It also has some weight to it so it makes the experience more enjoyable. Love the tapping on the flat side feature to switch the tools. There is no lagging or skipping when writing or highlighting on the ipad.

The Apple Pencil (2nd Gen) delivers flawless precision and ultra-low latency, making writing and drawing feel incredibly natural. The magnetic attachment ensures easy charging and pairing. Perfect for notes, sketches, or documents, it’s a must-have for iPad users. Seamless performance and premium build quality justify the price. Highly recommended for creatives and professionals!

The second-generation Apple Pencil is a fantastic upgrade with its seamless magnetic charging and refined design. It’s incredibly responsive and perfect for both note-taking and creative work. The precision and fluidity are noticeably improved, making it a joy to use. However, I was a bit frustrated that my older Apple Pencil wasn’t compatible with newer iPads, which led to this purchase. Despite that minor annoyance, the second-gen Pencil has been a worthwhile investment, enhancing my productivity and overall experience. It’s a top-notch tool that makes up for the inconvenience of having to switch from my previous model.

    Great update over the original

I love the new design of the Apple Pencil 2 and the fact you no longer need to deal with charging via a Lightning Port. The Apple Pencil 2 charges magnetically along the side of the iPad Pro. It also pairs to the iPad through via the magnet making set up a breeze. Writing and drawing are all wonderful to do. Some downsides include the price/durability. The pencil itself is sturdy, but at some point I dropped the pencil and the tip became damaged/unusable. Apple sells replacement tips (4 for $19.99) and they're easy to replace, but when you're already spending $129 on a device you expect it to hold up a little longer and not have to spend an extra $20.

I recently purchased the Apple Pencil (2nd Generation) in white, and I'm thoroughly impressed with its performance. The precision and responsiveness of this stylus are unparalleled, making it an indispensable tool for digital creativity. Its sleek design and seamless integration with Apple devices enhance the overall user experience. The magnetic attachment for charging is convenient, ensuring that the pencil is always ready when inspiration strikes. While it's a bit on the pricey side, the Apple Pencil justifies its cost with its exceptional build quality and functionality. Whether you're an artist, student, or professional, the Apple Pencil delivers an exceptional level of control and fluidity in your work. Highly recommended for anyone seeking top-notch stylus performance.

It is as close as writing on paper as you can get. The second version fixed many of the flaws from the first generation, especially the charging issue and the storage issue. The magnet will come off when in your backpack, but otherwise I never have to worry about charging my pencil anymore. I did damage my tip, but those are easily and cheaply replaced. This is a must have utensil for iPads.

Love this so much more than the 1st generation. Set-up is a breeze; Battery lasts longer; response is near flawless; writing is smooth, but almost too smooth so I added a rubber grip and a matte screen, but that’s just for my personal preference and comfort. I use my pencil for work and personal (approx 8+ hours/day). I love how it attaches to the iPad Pro for wireless charging/connectivity however, I wish the attachment was more secure as I am constantly “losing” my pencil, so I added a separate case to hold the pencil. My complaints are that the double-tap to switch feature seemed that it got in the way more than it satisfied any need while writing notes or drawing; and the 2nd generation pencil does NOT come with any replacement tips whereas the 1st generation does. Depending on your use and frequency, you may want to purchase backups to have on hand. Due to the frequency of use and methods of use, as well as the matte screen, I seem to go through tips quite often. They aren’t expensive and available from places other than Apple so it’s not a deal-breaker but I did appreciate that the 1st generation included them in the set.

I purchased Apple Magic pencil for iPad, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell it was made with quality and attention to detail. What stood out the most was the sleek design, ease of use, durability, or performance. It truly exceeded my expectations in my daily routine. The customer service was also exceptional. Overall, I highly recommend iPad Magic pencil to anyone looking for a reliable solution for work, home, or travel. It’s worth every penny.

Apple Pencil generation works great with the iPad mini 6. Cases for the Mimi 6 are available with a pencil holder which automatically charges the pencil. Great for drawing, scribbling,, taping the onscreen keyboard, gaming and so much more. Easy setup.. it automatically connects. Better than using your finger. The only negative is that the price.

    Great Addition to Your iPad!

I bought this after test-driving my friend's iPad and Apple Pencil. I was impressed with the precision and accuracy of the pencil. It almost writes as well as a real pencil, minus the tacticle feel against paper. What's better is I get to save what I wrote for prosperity. For example, I journal quite a bit with paper and pen. Now, it's with iPad and Apple Pencil. I can also save what I wrote and search for it later, as the app I use can search actual, bonafide handwriting. Only complaint, and it's more of an iOS thing than it is the pencil, is that about 25% of the time, iOS guesses incorrectly a twhat I wrote. This leads to much frustration. I do traditional handwriing/Cooper calligraphy style-writing. Oftentimes, iOS thinks I wrote one thing when I really wrote something else. As a result, I have to print rather than use cursive so that iOS can understand me. The Pencil attaches to the iPad via a magnet and charges through induction. The first generation Pencil was hokey, in that you had to plug in a physical cable to charge it.

Works wonderfully and with the ipad air, I never lose it, it just sticks right on and charges without additional cables. Wish I had bought into apple products sooner. I use this for drawing, note-taking, and everyday use. With drawing, it works well and the double-tap feature to swap between writing tip and eraser is really helpful.

If you own the 2018 Ipad Pro, then you need to have this item. The pencil makes the overall experience so much more predominant and better! The pressure sensitivity is incredible and really shines when sketching or note taking. This is so much better than the 1st generation pencil. Great work Apple! The fact that i was able to get this on sale during the holidays for $99 made it an excellent purchase!

Excellent. Writes well. Very intuitive. Will recommend to anybody. There’s no lag when writing. Makes things easier. Saves time. You’ll enjoy using the iPad better. It’s an additional feature to like iPad. It helps in taking notes and writing stuff. I’m not good in drawing but this pen helps me a lot. I like it and it’s much better than the first one, so I’m told.

The pencil works seamlessly. It is very fluid and comfortable to hold. I love the ability to just place it on the side of my iPad Pro to charge, connect and see how much battery is remaining. It charges up really fast to a full charge. The use of the customization of features is as simple as double tapping on the pencil itself to bring up what you would like to do. Great product but the price could be a bit lower.

I love how naturally the pencil attaches to the size bezel of the iPad. Charging is seamless and it feels so natural to use. There's a slight, almost imperceptible resistance at the point which gives the feeling of gliding across a sheet of paper. What a cool addition to your iPad!
