On my previous iPad (6th gen) I didn’t see the point behind an expensive Apple Pencil that I looked at as a fancy stylus when cheaper and adequate options were available so I never considered it. When I got my iPad Pro 11 (2nd gen) and Apple Pencil 2 I was prepared to still have the same mindset but I can admit when I’m wrong. The pencil is so much more intuitive than other options, even for someone like me. Definitely worth having. I also like that you don’t have to plug it into anything go charge...just attach to the iPad when not in use and it’s ready whenever you are. If you would only use it as a stylus (no note taking, drawing, etc) then yes, there are definitely some great options out there that would save you some cash, but if you’re someone that will be taking advantage of all that your iPad Pro has to offer then I definitely recommend getting this. Too soon to speak on how long the tip lasts but if you anticipate being a heavy user I would suggest getting the replacement tips so that you can have them on hand.

This Apple Pencil integrate with my iPad Pro beautifully. No loss of connection and no lagging. It is invaluable tool with my iPad Pro as a trainer on the road.

Had a Pencil 1 for my Ipad Pro Gen 1.....bought a Gen 2 along with the upgraded Pencil....game changer....last longer because its always attached and charging. Along with the different shape this is everything I need in a pencil...more natural feel, good weight and most importantly, easy to find.

I use this with my ipad and it’s quite amazing. I use my ipad in college as a notebook and it wouldn’t be complete without my apple pencil. the pencil magnets right to my ipad for easy charging and is always at a good battery life even after using it for awhile. the tip hasn’t worn down a bit, i’m not too worried about replacing it anytime soon. he quick touch features on the pencil are very useful for taking quick notes in class. 10/10 would definitely recommend for anyone needing to take notes or even draw on a ipad surface.

Easy to use and navigate. Fits comfortably in my hand. I’m right handed with small hands. Battery lasts longer on it than my iPad and super easy to charge. I dropped my pencil once and the tip got a dent in it. Works on apps that aren’t for drawing.

I purchaed the Apple 2 pencil for my new ipad Air. Works seamlessly as one would expect. Charging continually due to magnetically attaching to your ipad unless you are using it. Don't bother with the cheaper model. Again, great product you expect from Apple.

The Apple pencil greatly enhances the functionality of my IPad! I love how I can draw so intricately with it! I love how it snaps into the IPad and charges itself while docking. Totally worth the money I spent.

Great stylus, accurately reproduces my pen strokes. The wireless charging is very convenient. One star off for the price though

The way the pencil charges magnetically is infinitely better than the previous way. However, the flat edge put on the pencil does make it a little awkward to hold. Although this may feel more comfortable after some time. Everything about the accuracy and feel of the old pencil is here making it an amazing drawing tool. The first time I bought the old Apple Pencil it hurt to spend $100, now they’re charging $130 which is just adding insult to injury. Despite its pitfalls if you’re an artist who uses the IPad every day this is a must have.

Awesome product, was able to quickly use it with my Ipad. It is the perfect tool if you are a student and want to use it to write notes or draw. Like always Apple does not disappoint and Best Buy is always the best place to shop for electronics.

The pen is easy to use and works well with my iPad Air (4th gen). I like that I just place it on the iPad and it starts charging. It is nice and neat. I have no complaints about the pen besides that it is pricey. However, I would still recommend and purchase.

Works great! I takes lots of notes and draw graphs for work and it meets all my needs. I use an iPAD pro 12.9.

This is an essential part of your iPad and when you lose one, you have to go get another. I dropped mine walking around and was so mad. I did not figure this out till I was home and of course it was long gone. I ended up saving a few bucks by buying an open box one since hey, at least that one wasn't dropped a million times like my OG one that still worked fine when finally lost it for good. So save a few if you can and ask for an open box one if your store has one. Otherwise, grab a new one and make sure you check on the apple website BEFORE buying to see which pencil works with you particular iPad so you do to have to do the walk of shame back into the store like I did. Let's just say it has been a bad month and I need to pay better attention!

The Apple Pen helps a lot with drawing applications because these are very sharp, and easier to do many details. A gift for my daughter who no longer needs to use her fingers much in any application when using her iPad. Easy to recharge, and I recommend it.
