    Much better pencil than first gen. Works flawlessly and smoothly. Charging is so much better not having to plug it in to the lightning port on the iPad! Winner!

    The new pencil is responsive and feels lighter in the hand than the fist version. The ability to clip it to the iPad magnetically for storage and charging is a nice feature however in every day use I find that the magnetic adhesion is not strong enough to hold the pencil in place while in a bag or backpack.

    The pencil is fast and reactive to my iPad pro. It is a nice addition but the only downside is the cost. If you were constantly taking notes or drawing it would be worth the price point but if you don't do either of those things it is not my recommendation to buy it.

    My daughter loves the Apple Pencil for use on her airpad and says it is very easy to use. She uses it for taking notes at school.
