Easy to use and easy to charge. After years of using the gen 1, the gen 2 is a vast improvement. Pairing and charging is super easy-just attach to the mag side of your iAd and the pencil charges and pairs. I don’t miss the lightning plug or the annoying cap. Writing is improved and lots of new features. '

I bought the $80 upgrade to have this included with my iPad and I’m glad I did. It works so well with the iPad and the case that I bought, it magnetizes it and is always fully charged and ready to go.

I loved this pencil. I previously had the pencil pro but for my personal use this one is just as good and is compatible with the older model ipads so it suited me perfectly.

Much better than the Gen 1

I have an iPad Pro 9.7” with the first Gen Apple Pencil. Although it is a nice gadget, the Apple Pencil Gen 2 is so much better. Faster and way more convenient. The biggest issue with the Gen 1 was charging and carrying the pencil. Apple fixed that with the Gen 2. The magnets and wireless charging are genius solutions to the small problem. The pencil is easy to carry and thanks to the wireless charging is always ready with a 100% charge. It doesn’t sound like it’s much but the experience is a lot better. If you have a New iPad Pro and you like to draw or even take notes at school this Apple Pencil Gen 2 is a great addition to the iPad experience.

Glad I bought the pencil but it is pricey. Easy to use with the iPad Pro. Like how the pencil hooks onto the iPad with a magnet. Like how the pencil charges when hooked onto the iPad.

Works well with my iPad Mini 6, mainly used for taking notes. It is more responsive and stays connected which a cheaper knock off didn’t. Lesson learned! It automatically charges when it sits on the edge magnetically so I don’t have to remember to stick it in the charging port like the 1st generation model.

As others have said, the Apple pencil is a pricey but great stylus. The 2nd Gen is much improved over the 1st Gen Pencil. It feels nicer to hold and write with and being able to charge it by connecting it to the iPad magnetically is much better than plugging it into the bottom of the device. I use it mostly for taking notes and marking up PDFs, and it is very smooth and responsive. The only downside is that the magnets connecting it to the side of the iPad are not super strong, so it isn’t really practical to leave it attached at all times since it might get knocked off.

Works great for taking notes. The quality is excellent and the pencil feels very solid. I’ve also used it a little bit for drawing, and while I’m not an artist, I appreciate the pressure sensitivity. The battery life is very good. After using it for about a 90 minute class period, it goes down to maybe 90% or a bit less. It charges very quickly as well. When I first got it, the battery was at 0%, and it charged to 20% in less than a minute.

Works great with Apple iPad Air (5th generation), even with a screen protector, and charges while connected to the iPad. A definite convenience when writing is necessary, rather than using a finger. Unfortunately, Apple's software does not allow renaming of the Apple Pencil, so make sure you don't lose it or mix it up with someone else's!

I find this really good for writing, captures the style of writing pretty accurately. I do find that the battery tends to die off faster the more I use it which is understandable. Overall, I would recommend.

Love this Apple pen! I’m in school studying to be a digital artist and this pen is a game changer for my drawings. So easy to use and connect with my iPad Pro. I’ve used other off brand pens, but none of them perform like the Apple pen. Definitely worth the money!!

I use this all the time with my iPad so I don't get fingerprints on my screen and I love it. there is no lag or delay on my screen when I use it and when I am done it connects right to the side of my iPad for automatic charging. the magnet that holds it is also super strong so I don't have to worry about dropping it or losing it when its connected to my iPad.

I was going to get the Logitech crayon instead because the tips are exactly the same as the Apple Pencil and it was cheaper but because I was coming from the iPad Pro 9.7 I wanted to experience charging my pencil magnetically instead of plugging it in. With the original Apple Pencil, I had to have a grip on it to use it and I had to get used to writing with it but with this one, I not only do not need a grip but I got used t on it literally the first use. Being able to double tap to change from pen to eraser is an added bonus.

Not too much to say, great for taking notes or if you draw great for that too, super convenient that it charges just by sticking it to the iPad, maybe a slight downfall is that it can fall off pretty easy if carrying around with it on the side of the tablet.
