The best pencil for tablets period. I draw on it and use it to take notes which it is excellent at both. Battery life is long enough and the charging is simple and easy without the need for wires.

The Apple Pencil is an impressive tool for creativity and productivity. Its precision makes writing, drawing, and note-taking feel natural, almost like using real paper. With excellent responsiveness, seamless pairing, and long battery life, it enhances the iPad experience greatly. A must-have accessory for artists, students, and professionals alike.

I love this new pen. It attaches to the iPad magnetically, which is also how it charges. No more worrying about the pin breaking off or trying to use the iPad and having the pen be dead. It's been a great upgrade!

The price I paid was low, online ordering and in store pickup was easy. I had the other knockoffs, they were OK but only the Apple Pencil wirelessly charges and is overall better for me.

This works exactly as advertised. I am a professional artist, and I happen to have both a Lenovo Yoga All-in-One and the iPad Pro, so I thought I'd do some compare and contrasts with their individual pens. The Apple pencil acts almost identically to the flow of an actual pen/brush—comparable to my experience to a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet. The Lenovo pen is a little less sensitive and takes some practice to get used to how it flows. The Apple pencil was very easy to set up; whereas I am still having trouble getting the Lenovo pen settings to work on my computer (part of what was advertised with the All-in-one). There is still some issues with errant dots appearing when I draw on the iPad Pro, however, I think that is more of a universal problem with touch screens in general rather than with the Apple Pencil itself, and I was able to mitigate it with a tablet glove. The downside of both the iPad Pro and Apple pencil is more part of my own broad issues with Apple products in general: they are wildly overpriced (which is the major reason why I went to Lenovo when I was searching for a dedicated desktop computer). I'm hoping that with companies like Microsoft and Lenovo catching up to the level of drawing technology Apple is at, that may change. Overall, I'm very happy with the performance of the Apple pencil and I would recommend it as a valuable tool for artists.

this pencil is definitely a upgrade of the first gen, it charges on the side of the iPad wirelessly. on the last gen apple pencil you had to plug it in on the iPad charging port which was a dumb design. thanks God they fix it on this new gen and i can confirm that the response time has improve drastically. the only thing i kind of hate is that they price it a little higher than before, like the old apple pencil wasn’t expensive enough lol

This new version of the Apple Pencil is a great update from the older version. The magnetic side that keeps the pencil attached to the iPad has kept me using it much more due to the fact that it's always right there. The functionality is great and the automatic charging when attached to the iPad is light years ahead of the older process. As with all things Apple, it's definitely on the expensive side.

Works great both for art related projects or just for navigating the iPad screen with out leaving finger prints, if that is what you want. Very easy to use and quick charging. I think this apple pencil is quite worth it, especially if you catch a sale.

I have a first gen pencil for my older 12.9” iPad Pro and have learned to like it very well. I bought this one for my 2020 iPad Pro. If you have the newer iPads, this new pencil is a big improvement. The feature to switch to eraser is really handy. I like the length of the device more than the Gen 1 as well. I would say that if you have an iPad and the Sept 2020 IPadOS you need this pencil.

It’s a pencil. Works very intuitively. No buttons but is pressure sensitive and you can tap it in some apps which works like a button press. Very well made and I’ve not experienced a session where it ran out of power. Hard to remember to snap it to edge of iPad anytime you would normally set it down. Maybe they should add a locate feature? Charges fast.

Easy to use, easy to charge. I like the fact it attaches to iPad. It probably has more relevance for someone who uses their iPad for productivity and not just fun but it was a good purchase and I have enjoyed using it.

The apple pencil and ipad combo is a masterful work of sheer genius and engineering. This epic little guy is really able to take on the abilities of the real tools it emulates. The real shocker was just how much it's able to immitate a real pencil's capabilities. The simplistic minimal design is also a comforting and subtle reminder of how less is more.

I wanted to switch from taking notes in spiral notebooks, to my iPad for college. It does exactly what it's advertised to do, really good battery life, I don't even know how I would be able to use all of it in 1 go. If you are interested in using an iPad to take notes or draw, this is great, just a little pricey for a stylus with the Apple logo on it.

This is so much better than the first gen Pencil. If you have a compatible device and you aren’t using it you’re really doing yourself a disservice (providing that you have need of such a thing in the first place). Being able to charge it by magnetically attaching it to the side was upgrade enough. No more pencil jutting out the bottom of your iPad!

Great tool for artists and creative people. Magnetic charging is super simple, battery lasts a really long time, smooth gliding over the glass on the iPads. The new pencil only comes with 1 tip. Additional replacement tips can be purchased from Apple. Although it'll probably be a while before you'll need to replace it. Highly recommended for all creative types using the new iPads that support the 2nd generation Apple Pencil.
