The Apple Pencil works as flawlessly as one would imagine with the iPad. Pairing is instant and totally automatic and charging is a breeze. Being able to “write” text directly instead of using the keyboard may or may not be fun but I personally find it clunky, impractical and avoid it. The Apple Pencil is a must for digital artists and this is where it really shines. As it is very expensive (even on sale), if you don’t need this device specifically for creating digital art on an iPad and just need a stylus, there are way cheaper options out there!

I love the 2nd generation of the Apple Pencil. It feels good in my hand and I don't think the nib is too thick or makes drawing difficult. I don't really use it for notes - just art, but I mean it is a fantastic 'stylus'. Much better than the first generation I think. My only complaint is that I think it is priced a bit too high.

This Apple Pencil is an excellent addition to my son's iPad Pro. He can sketch everywhere and keep up with his art and graphic design projects.

This pen is a total upgrade on the original and it's a shame it's not backwards compatible. It does cost more, however I never runs out of battery since it's always magnetized to my ipad. I also don't have to worry about losing the cap that covered the insertable charging side. Not to mention we have dogs around so I constantly feared them breaking the pencil off inside the ipad while charging so this is a much more hassle-free option.

This is my 2nd Apple Pencil (2nd generation). I like this better than USB Type C, because it charges with my iPad Air, and I think it's only compatible with the iPad Air, not the other models. Functionality-wise and accessibility is great. Don't forget to buy extra tips, though since I write a lot for my school so the tip gets worn out, but that's okay, given with the things that I write, I no longer use pen and paper for lectures, I use iPencil and iPad .

The Apple Pencil came in perfect condition, I use it on a regular basis being a pre med student. And it’s worked very well. The charging is amazing, and the features on it worked perfectly well. I lost my original one and had to quickly order a second one as I had exams coming up and needed to study. The pencil was delivered really fast and came in pristine condition. If you’re thinking about buying a used item from Best Buy make sure to check the condition and I highly recommend it.

I loaded the Procreate app on my 11" iPad Pro and needed the Apple Pencil for the drawings I'm making for class. The Apple Pencil paired with my iPad immediately and charged up very quickly. It works super with the app. If you are into any of the art apps, the Apple Pencil is great!

Works perfectly with my iPad Air 5th gen. I use it primarily for procreate and it truly makes thing much easier for drawing

This is actually my 2nd one because my kids broke my other one and I absolutely love these pens for my iPad! I’m very productive in it too.

I had the first iPad Pro and I really didn’t like the pencil. It was really big where it didn’t feel very normal in the hand. It was glossy and so after a few minutes of taking notes it would get slippery. And charging it through the iPad was just bad. The new gen is much better! It’s a matte finish so a lot smoother and grippier in the hand. I believe it is a little smaller although I did not have the old pencil to compare it too... and charging the new pencil is genius!

Easy to use, writes smoothly on the iPad. Have to be careful with the wrist on the tablet stopping the scroll and I often accidentally double tap the side which changes colors in pdf edit mode. Can complain about the price but it’s Apple….. so purchase an open box item, and you still have the warranty. I enjoy this much better than the v1 pencil. Easier to use and charge.

Really love the apple pencil, use it to write notes and do some light drawing. I greatly prefer writing notes rather than typing them but I always end up losing notebooks or forgetting where I wrote something and having this allows me to eliminate that issue. Definitely a splurge type of item for me but worth it.

I was pretty hesitant to purchase this due to the price, but it is so worth it! I can’t compare it to anything else because this is the first time i’ve used an apple pencil but it works so great! The charge lasts a long time, it’s easy to charge, it’s easy to hold, writing with it is amazing. I have nothing but good things to say about it! so if you’re like me and you’re heavily debating on if you should get it or not... GET IT.

If you have a new iPad Pro and are on the fence about buying the pencil, do me a favor and punch yourself! Your blowing it bad! This thing is amazing. I’m blown away by it. It makes note taking, drawing and other things extremely easy. It’s easy to charge and I have nothing bad to say about it! So please spend the money and buy it, you will not be disappointed. I have owned other iPads and let’s just say with the pro and the pencil it is a completely new experience!!
