Love this product, making writing on the iPad seamlessly. It's very precise and accurate. I recommend buying a tablet case that can hold the pen bc it can get in the way when holding your iPad. Battery life is almost never an issue, I've dropped it plenty of times no wear or tear.

The Apple Pencil 2 is nothing short of a digital artist's dream. Seamlessly pairing with my iPad, it transforms my tablet into a canvas of endless possibilities. Whether sketching, taking notes, or designing, its precision is unparalleled, replicating the feel of a traditional pencil but with the power of modern technology. The added double-tap feature is a game-changer, allowing for quick tool switches without breaking the creative flow. A magnetic attachment and wireless charging are the cherries on top, making it an indispensable tool for any iPad user. A perfect blend of design and functionality, the Apple Pencil 2 is truly a masterpiece in its own right.

Having both apple pencils and this one is way better, in terms of usability and the way it charges. The downside is only applicable to the iPad Pro series and a tad expensive. Overall it is valuable only if you really work with arts, otherwise, don't splash your money. You can spend the money to buy AirPods or other accessories.

This is my first purchase of an Apple - Pencil. I didn't understand at first why this pencil is so expensive but I see all that you can do with it. Still a little pricey but worth it.

First pencil I ever had was when I initially purchased my iPad. On the second day of having the pencil it fell from my iPad case. I had taken my eyes off of it for about 15 seconds. When I finally realized the pencil wasn’t in sight I frantically began to look around for it in bed. Once I located the pencil it was missing 15% of the tip and the cute lavender silicone case with ears I had just put on it. Jokes on me that case was supposed to protect it. Guess I didn’t read the fine print that the silicone Apple Pencil case doesn’t protect against dog theft and vandalization. Of course me being me had to purchase another pencil again from Best Buy. I also trained my dog to not take the Apple Pencil ever again.

This stylus (cause that’s what it is) is so versatile. The charging mechanism is reliable and practical. This function also doubles as the synchronization process. Very responsive. You may not notice a difference in the lag time between this and the 1st gen Apple Pencil, but if you’re looking for it (like me) or you’re an artist, it makes a difference. The natural glass of the iPad Pro is slick so that takes some getting used to for writing, but not necessarily for any other pencil functions. May want to try a screen protector with some resistance to feel more control (I.e. Paperlike). Never worry about life for my uses but in case that’s something you’re paying a attention to, I can get through a day’s use of taking notes, creating and marking documents, coloring, scrolling through different apps and using this more like a stylus with about 50% life left between 8:30 am and 1am. All in all this is a great addition and a practical tool. I recommend it 100%. Also, if you’re so inclined, go for the excellent grade open box if you wanna save about $20. No significant difference other than no plastic. No extra tip(s) comes with this version.

2 words, PLANNED obsolescence!!! The product is just okay. I do like the fact that you can charge it directly on your ipad pro. i don't like the fact is that's the only way you can charge it. Doesn't have a Find Device featuere. These things can get lost super easy.

Man oh man the newer one compliments the iPad Pro exceptionally. My business requires me to write a lot of dimensions and options while on the move with clients. Having the pencil lets me sketch out a venue’s layout on the go and add dimensions, shorthand, etc. without having to lug around a legal pad or a spiral.

I wasn't sure I'd like the Apple Pencil when I got it, but I figured it'd try it out. I started liking it right away, however. It's got some nice weight to it, so it feels good in your hand. I'm still getting used to it, but I've already started using it to markup manuscripts I'm editing. I've signed PDF documents using it, too, and it worked like a charm. It's never going to match the feel of a pen scratching across paper, but this is pretty much as close to it as I ever expected I'd get. It's precise and smooth flowing, which makes the lines produced on the screen look as I'd expect them to if I were writing with a pen. I'm happy with the Apple Pencil, and I'm looking forward to using it in more ways.

Very pleased with the purchase. So nice to use with a multiple of programs on my iPad. It magnetically stays on the side by which it charges itself as well. Great weight to it and easy to set up. My only complaint is the price - could be more in line with the cost of other stylists.

Works so well, especially if you like to write on paper I recommend getting the paper felt matte screen protector. Only drawback for that is you’ll need to buy more pencil tips.

This is a wonderful electronic pencil. Once again Apple is knocked it out of the park with not only design and but with its seamless integration. The best part about this I think is the fact that you never have to remember to charge it once you stick it to the side of the iPad with magnets it’s already charging.

This works exactly as it is advertised. It feels like you are using a pencil, except with the iPad Air it is even easier than paper to fix mistakes and be precise with your creations.

This Apple Pencil works great. The double tap for changing between pen and eraser works every time with no issues. The all in one design is a nice upgrade from the original Apple Pencil. Also the pen sticks right to the side of the iPad and keeps it always charged and prevents misplacement.
