I'm glad I bought the Apple Pencil 2nd generation because I actually needed to buy it. It's not even for me, but my daughter needed for school. I'm an old guy and told her that what is wrong with a traditional pencil, lol, and she told me you're not that old, you know I need that for my ipad. Of course, I did but I was just joking with her. I got it on sale actually so that was good but she tells me she's very happy with it, so I'm happy. I'm really glad for the advancement of technology.

This pen charges straight off the ipad and works great in all the ipad apps. I use it with Adobe Fresco.

I am very happy, the device is accurate, really easy to use, it is completely necessary complement por my ipad.

If you have a new iPad, then you should definitely get the Apple Pencil 2 since the writing is smoother and the charging is much easier by snapping it to the side of the iPad. While the Pencil isn’t cheap, it does work very well and I can’t imagine taking notes any other way. Overall I would recommend.

There were issues with BlueTooth connectivity and initial setup. But it was quite handy once it was setup. One word of caution... always buy a tether to ensure that you do not lose it... because if it is misplaced/lost... it is almost difficult to locate/find since "Find My" does not work for the Apple Pencil accessory. Also remember to buy it along with the Apple iPAD in the same purchase/receipt; since Apple Care+ will allow you to add the accessory to the iPAD's Apple Care for no additional cost only if purchase was made on the same receipt.

i had the first gen and it was always dying and i hated the way to charge it/ sync it to the iPad i felt like it was going to break. this model i don't have to worry about that at all its all together feels better and i never worry about it dying!

I bought the pencil for my iPad Pro 12.9. First I thought I wouldn't need it because the screen is big enough; but it still works so much better and easier with the pencil. It's really easy to use and charge. The pencil can be detached to the iPad because of the magnets. It's even very stylish. I love it.

Awesome pencil. Never have to charge since it is always attached. Feels like a regular pencil and is pretty durable. Much better than the first gen pencil

Works fine, simple to pair and charge with my I-pad Pro. However, for me personally, I have not found a great use for the pencil as I am not an artist and into coloring, for me it works to take notes etc, and for the most part, the handwritten notes become searchable, etc.

Can't compare it to the 1st gen but I really like it the way it charges and feels on your hand. The only downside is that somehow the side of the tipgot scratched and it really annoys me but works just fine.

As with all Apple products, it pairs flawlessly with my iPad. It works great and charges super fast when connected to the iPad. I would highly recommend

This is a great upgrade from the 1st gen. The doubletap feature is a little weird sometimes but it's still very useful. I like the weight and balance of this one significantly more than the 1st gen as well. The texture of it, the magnetic attachment and charging, the pressure sensitivity etc. It's all good. In every way. I wanted to get this thing for YEARS. So it's really gratifying to finally get it and have it be genuinely good.

It works great with my ipad air and it attaches. magnetically you don't even need to charge it!

I returned my iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil in the end and went with the Surface Pro 7 and pen because it suited my needs better. The Apple Pencil is nice and a beautiful design as is the Apple way looks are a big deal and it works great with the Pro. Artists I am sure enjoy this Pencil very much as it is very useful. The price is a little high in my opinion but again it's Apple... I would recommend it but only for people with specific needs, wants or just who truly love Apple.

After using the gen 1 Apple pencil for so long I got used to its shortcomings-such as the peculiar way it connected and charged via the iPad lightening port causing it to awkwardly stick out like a weird appendage or its rounded shape that had a tendency to roll around hard surfaces. But the newer pencil made me realize his much I had been settling for "usable". The magnetic charging capability makes connecting super simple and allows me to charge the pencil while I'm simply storing it on the side - completely effortlessly and without even realizing it. And the added function of the side button tap features improves workflow efficiency in drawing apps such as Procreate which has several gesture shortcuts but being to implement the pencil into the mix makes things so much easier!

Over the years I’ve had many pencils and this is the best (with Apple pro iPad). LOVE IT! The battery charges in no time (and this happens to me as I’ll go a week without using). Accuracy is great and using as notes pencil is outstanding. Can even put hand on screen and write “normal”.

Apple Pencil connects to my iPad effortlessly. No need to charge it it charges through the iPad. The point beaks easily if it’s dropped so be careful. But there are tip replacements for purchase.

I really like the new pencil implementation. Charging seems easier. Accuracy has improved and the iPad integration is significantly better than the first gen pencil. If I were artistic, I’d be able to offer insight on its use in artistic creation - sorry, not an artist.

The mechanic of the pencil makes it great to wrote smoothly and comfortably. Feels light on the hand

Purchased in conjunction with an iPad Pro & works great. Bought for my daughter as a Christmas gift ahead of her starting college & will work great for notetaking & serving all of her needs in & out of the classroom. Easy to use & even easier to charge. Thanks!
