I had the 1st generation pencil which was fine. The new one is better. Obviously it only works with the new iPads, however it instantly connnects magnetically, and charges on the side. I like the fact that you can double tap the pencil and switch between the most recent tool you were using (i.e. pencil and eraser) but i also love that you don’t have to plug it in to the bottom of the iPad to pair/use. Also love that it just sticks to the side. Only downside would be that if you put in pack it can fall off of the iPad. Otherwise no complaints.

It works amazingly however I do not like how I will be drawling and the double tap feature randomly changes the tool to eraser Of course it isn’t exactly random but it’s is quite frustrating because I do not mean to do it yet it happens I was also surprised when my dog chewed right through it and bit the Apple Pencil top off but I’m not so surprised anymore I love the new features like the flag side on the pencil and how it sticks to my iPad Maybe it’s just my bad handwriting but it can be a little frustrating when the iPad will not get the translate my writing into the word I meant and I get a different thing instead Overall I like it though it is not a MUST If you have the money and want it then buy it if you’re a little iffy and have money then buy it but if you’re not so sold on having it then I don’t think you need to buy it

It’s very easy for anyone to use. The Apple Pencil is pretty lightweight which makes it easy to carry around anywhere.

My wife loves using it to draw and my handwritten notes are easy and clear

It was soooo simple to connect and it works very well on my iPad, I love using it with the procreate app its like a real pencil

I loved how well packaged it was and how well the pencil has lasted me since I’ve gotten it. The functions were easy to figure out and it’s been pretty easy to use

This is the best accessory for the iPad Air. If you're a student this is a must. It comes in handy for taking notes and journaling. The only downside is that it's a bit overpriced.

Works amazing I never have to charge it because it charges from the I pad with a magnetic strip inside the pen. It’s great!

Using the pencil is great makes it easy to make notes or to sing forms. The pencil is very precise when drawing as well. It’s very easy to use.

While by no means perfect, it is a really great peice of kit for anything precise (editing photos and videos for example) Charges quickly, no issues with pairing and an overall joy to use. Can’t say whether or not the price is justified, but I like having all the features apple intended,

The Apple Pencil 2 has so many great improvements. I love the ease of charging it. The battery life lasts a very long time great product!

Very easy to set up & use right out the box. We have an iPad Pro 12.9” & it works smoothly with it.

Gen 2 of the Apple Pencil is hands-down the best iteration of a stylus I've ever used. The magnetic connector is ingenious, the sensitivity and proximity features magical, and the on-screen precision flawless. This is going into each of our kids' stockings for Christmas!
