I lost the lightning port cap within a month of owning the stylus. Thankfully, I found the cap under my car seat. Still, I left and lost the gen 1 pencil several time over the years and yes, I managed to always get it back (including the time I lost it in a parking lot overnight. I guess someone saw my $100 “pencil,” and thought it was a worthless straw-straw). Now the gen2 pencil comes with the ability the ability to always be attached to the pro 3 device (Apple I forgive you!). A magnet is a wonderful thing! This a great way to keep up with an expensive, useful stylus.
