Perfect pencil, pen, highlighter, paint brush, etc. I use it in conjunction with the 4th Gen 12.9” iPad Pro. Massive improvement from the 1st gen pencil, if only for the method of charging. One Does not have to stick it in the charging port, fretting that its going to break off..It’s magnetically attracted to the side and charges via magnetic field, or so they say... I’m pretty sure it is reverse technology from Roswell..:) J. Coulson

The new Apple Pencil makes writing and taking notes much easier. It’s user friendly and I love that all I need to do to charge it is put it in the pencil holder of my iPad case. I gifted one to my sister in law because she loves to draw and she told me it takes her drawings to a whole new level.

Why the heck did I buy this thing? I have no use for it but I figured I'd give it a shot. Honestly I don't even know where I put it. Save your money, skip this purchase. I gave it 4 stars because I don't have a reason to give it anything less or more. It's an Apple product so it's well designed. The few minutes I used it during set up, it was neat so yeah, maybe 4 stars because of that? Other than that, the majority of us won't have much use for it. Heck I dunno, maybe buy it and play around with it. Maybe you'll love it or maybe it'll be meh.

This pen is so lightweight and fluid and with the latest iPadOS 14 update, I can’t see how it could get that much better. I came from a MS Surface and the pen is $30 cheaper but DOES give this one a run for it’s money. Specifically the eraser being on the other side on of the pencil. I will say though in practice, the double tap feature of erasing on the Apple Pencil feels great when drawing. 2 weeks in and I don’t see myself returning this. Lol

Great product. Battery last most of the work day with occasional use, or about 3-4 hour of continuous drawing on procreate. Works great for digital art

The apple pen has made using my tablet a lot easier. I do have my own company and I use my tablet quit a lot and it was so annoying how my finger would catch something else but with this light weight pen I get through my work faster

Absolutely amazing. Used a normal stencil for a while, but if you are interested in digital art, note taking, or planning, I couldn't recommend this more. It's insanely sturdy (good for me, considering I am amazing at dropping things), I've heard horror stories of someone dropping their pencil and it breaks, not me. I don't use a case, I don't use any fancy stuff. I've had this product for a year and a half, never had to replace the nib. I use a paperlike screen, which is super wearing for the nib and it has held up for this long, and shows no signs of needing to be replaced anytime soon. The battery life is amazing, if you are tempted to get one, do it.

This pencil is awesome because it allows me to easily write in legible notes and annotations in music as well as write for education purposes. I wish it had an eraser feature though where i could flip the pencil around and just erase like normal... while i do appreciate the double tap on the side of the pencil for the eraser option, i would use the pencil normally and the pencil would randomly change to the eraser option because the pencil is very sensitive to touch... i would give this product 5 stars only if the apple pencil had a fixed eraser mechanism or one like a regular pencil. Oh also this pencil is way too overpriced... like this pencil should've been maybe at the most $40 but it was a hefty $130... like it is just a pencil.

This an excellent addition to tablet. A great tool with multiple uses for note taking, drawing or simple mouse functions

I love using the Apple iPad pencil with my iPad. It's very convenient and easy to use. Light weight and clamps perfectly on the side on the iPad.

I find the Apple bin to be an exceptional product, characterized by its ease of use and convenient charging capabilities.

The Apple Pencil is incredibly precise and responsive. It feels completely natural for writing and drawing on the iPad, with no lag. It's a must-have tool for any creative task or note-taking.

I basically updated my stuff, I had an iPad Pro 1st gen with and Apple Pencil. What I like about this new version is the ease of charging, since it doesn’t connect to the USB c port and attaches to the iPad magnetically is so much better to carry it around

It is very responsive and fairly durable if you treat it right, battery life charges fast and is fairly long lasting, great for animating and drawing. color doesnt die out and turn dusty and crusty as would you expect mainly because of its materials including aluminum for everything except the tip which is matte plastic.

This is the new Apple Pencil for the late 2018 iPad Pros. The surface on this one is more matte finish and less slippery than version 1. This one has a flat surface to keep it from rolling off the desk. It charges with inductive charging by magnetically attaching to the side of the iPad. Unfortunately it is more expert than version 1. Also, this version will not work on last years model and version 1 won’t work on the 2018 iPad Pros. Otherwise, this is a great update for the iPad pros.

I have to admit that this pen is awesome. For drawing, you can create amazing detail and the writing is remarkably smooth. It does definitely perform better than other non-Apple options. Plus, the charging improvements over the 1st generation are outstanding. Unfortunately it only works with the latest generation of iPads. But, the price is a tough pill to swallow. I wish it were cheaper, but I guess if you want the best quality, you have to pay for it.
