I got the pen when I bought my iPad because I had a few extra dollars. I like the fact that it attaches magnetically to my iPad but I’m pretty sure you can get a stylus off of Amazon that would work the same.

I bought this because as a student I can take notes on my ipad instead of carrying 5 separate notebooks. It's pretty expensive and I would not buy this unless you are committed to using it.
