    I like the Apple Pencil (1st Generation) much better. I can find no stand that will hold the iPad with the long sides free. The stands all hold on to the narrowest dimension. This makes it impossible to charge the Apple Pencil, (2nd Generation) without removing it from the stand. They either need to make the Pencil (2nd Generation) with a plug, or I need to see if there is any other way to charge the pencil without connecting to iPad, perhaps a wireless charger such as the iPhones can use.
