    Great Device, Horrible Price-Tag

If you're considering an iPad for college, the note-taking capabilities alone make it a worthy investment. However, when it comes to choosing a specific model, the iPad Pro might not be the most practical option. The truth is, for the average user, the extra features and specs of the Pro version don't necessarily justify the higher price tag. In reality, if you're in the market for an iPad primarily for academic purposes, opting for a more budget-friendly version could be a smarter choice. While the iPad Pro certainly boasts impressive performance and advanced features, such as the ProMotion display and the powerful A-series chip, these may not be essential for your everyday college tasks like note-taking, researching, or writing papers. Moreover, the decision to purchase the "best" version often stems from circumstances like having surplus funds designated for educational expenses. In such cases, it's tempting to opt for the top-tier model, believing it will offer the best experience. However, it's crucial to weigh the cost against the actual benefits you'll derive from those extra features.

    Great for Art Functionality!

What can I add that already has not been said? If you are a Mac user, and live on your iPad like I do, this is a must-buy. If you do not perform art functions or picture photoshopping often, then this is probably more of a luxury purchase than a necessity. The ability to edit on the fly, drag and drop details that otherwise required you to painstakingly manipulate your fingers is a life saver.

I got this to go with my son‘s iPad mini, but unfortunately it is not compatible. It works with my iPad so we kept it but just to make sure that you check the compatibility before you buy it. I just figured it was the newest iPad mini, so it would go with any of the pens, but that was my bad. It works great with my tablet though.

Purchased as a Open Box Special, it is a very useful accessory for the iPad Air 4 (8th Generation). Works smoother than 1st Generation pencil. Try to purchase it on sale, full price is a bit rich.

Loved the original Pencil but this one improves on that in several ways. My favorites are: 1) Wireless charging - 2) Magnets to hold the pencil on the side of the iPad 3) Flat side to keep the pencil from rolling around with abandon -

Good connection to pad.no observable lag. Tips can be a bit fragile. I lost my previous Pencil and needed to replace the tip twice. I’ve got some in reserve now.

The pencil is a useful tool to use if you want to write down notes. It does need a thicker frame so that its easier to keep your grip but other than that no complaints. They do sell grips online though which does help.

compared to the apple pencil pro 1st gen, this is awesome. Mostly in how Apple redesigned it to magnetically attach to the new ipad pro (which now has straight/flat edges), AND charges when attached. Great to see the improvements
