    Unlike the 1st generation, This one is not compatible with regular iPad. Only works with Mini, Air and Pro. Seriously, a $13 stylus from Amazon can do what this is supposed to do. Unfortunately by the time we opened it (birthday gift) the return policy has passed so now I’m stuck with this hunk of useless junk and Apple thinks I’m going to use this opportunity to upgrade the expensive iPad to a more expensive one. I’ll call the credit card and get my money back. It’s this type of abusive nonsense that makes us buy less a d less Apple products.

    Giving this two stars because it works and does what it says it will do. HOWEVER.... there is little to no difference between the GEN 1 pencil and this GEN 2. Also this doesn't come with extra pencil heads like the Gen1 and COST MORE!!! I do love however the new charging feature which is magnetic vs the adapter and plugin to the lightning prot of the old one.

    The new pencil has improved, but at the same time more inconvenient. You charge the pencil and it also takes battery away from the iPad. Wish there is a separate charger for the pencil.

    With pairing the Apple Pencil and the iPad Pro. They work together really well and now that the pencil has the magnetic side that sticks to the iPad I’m all in. Great product.
