Only works with certain models

For those moving from gen 1, be sure to read the details. This isn't really gen 2...it's more like a Pro pencil and only works with select ipad models. Brand new basic iPad, even if it has magnetic holder on side, will not work with this.

Great add on
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the 1st gen pencil, and it was a pain to charge, I kept worrying that I would lose the top, or the adapter to the lightning cord, this one is effortless, just attach to the magnetic point on the side of the IPad and it charges inductively. One star off because of the cost which is very high for a simple item.
