I know this is Apple's problem but not even the sales person offered any direction.

Great new pencil

Stopped working

It’s less than 2 years old and it will no longer connect to my iPad after it was put away for a couple weeks. It has never been dropped or damaged. Tried to work it out with Apple and they said its probably an hardware problem but since it is over 1 year old, there’s nothing they can do.

Needs some work

In order to charge it, you have to magnetically attach it to the iPad. No biggie except that if it gets bumped at all it comes off. I've only had it a month and have lost count of the number of times I've had to stop and look for it.
