It should be called Apple Pencil for Ipad Pro. I bought this because I wanted the newest, not realizing that there’s no way for me to charge it - until I looked at my unopened box and read it. I waited too long, and not able to return it - still unopened.

Its make me more comfortable to use a ipad I really like it

I definitely needed this since I didn’t have anything with my first generation iPad. I use this all the time.

But should be a way to fix it on the iPad in order to don't loose it.

This pen is marketed as one that’s compatible with all Apple iPads but it isn’t. This was a Christmas present for my son who’s in high school. Given that school reconvened after the 14 day return exchange policy, I’m stuck with an expensive pen that doesn’t work for his brand new 10th generation iPad.

Did not work on my son’s new iPad. Had to go back to the previous generation pencil.

Works excellently. Its a little thin for my taste, i have bug hands Way overpriced though... but thats to be expected from apple products. If you're comfortable using android instead of ipad, then get a galaxy tab with an s-pen for free.

I love the idea of then pencil however it isn’t compatible with the latest iPad. Make sure you check the compatibility before you make the $120+ mistake I made

You can do the same with a cheaper pencil but it apple

I can't imagine using the ipad pro without the pencil. it is a must have accessory for productivity and fun

The pencil works absolutely as it should, but for 80% of what I do, a foam tip stylus works too. Cost / benefit not that great from that point of view. The precision of the fine tip is a feature no foam tip or finger can beat however.

I really like using the new pen with the new iPad.

I've owned the Apple pencil for a little over a month. I purchased it when I purchased the new iPad Pro. When I first pulled it out of the box and paired it up with my iPad, I went to write with it in one of the apps, and it was barely making marks on the screen. Turned out that the tip needed to be tightened. It was disappointing that it didn't work out of the box, but once I got it working, I enjoyed writing with it. I left it attached to the iPad overnight to charge. The next day, I went to use it and it wasn't charged. I had to turn on the iPad before it would charge up again. Once I got it to a full charge, I then went into a couple of meetings and was taking notes with it. Around the 2 hour mark, the pencil runs out of charge. Sometimes less, sometimes a little more, depending on how intensely I'm using it and whether or not I can sneak it back on the iPad to pick up a little charge. Overall, I'm disappointed with the fact that I didn't have a charge at the start of the day and that I don't get enough charge to get through the day. My final issue with the pencil is around durability. I have my iPad in a UAG case that has a flap which wraps around the pencil when the cover is in place. This helps hold the pencil in addition to the magnetic attachment. A few days ago, I was running to the car and holding my iPad inside my jacket to shield it from the rain. The pencil was knocked free from the iPad on the sidewalk under the awning and landed on the tip. It was under the awning where it was dry, so it didn't get wet. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get it to work since this event. I know it hit the tip because there is the slightest rough spot on the tip that wasn't there before. When I attach the pencil to the iPad, the iPad recognizes that there is a pencil and asks to connect, but never successfully connects. It never displays the charge. It never shows up in the bluetooth devices. It never works in any of the apps that support the pencil. I've tried all the troubleshooting tips: try to repair, turning the iPad off/on, soft reset, etc. At this point, I'm starting to expect that it is permanently damaged. I would have hoped that for a stylus in the $100+ category, it could be a little more durable. I've only had this for 40 days.

Dinted easy when dropped. Great product but needs improvements

I like to use with the 12 inches iPad more than the 11 inch

Mine somehow got a slight crack in it. But otherwise it’s great

It just can’t charge with a case on the iPad so I have to take it off

A mandatory product if you plan on using your iPad for art
