doesn't work with ipad 8th generation

The in-store rep told us it would work with our new ipads. (We should have checked for ourselves.) It did not. Our daughter was quite disappointed on Christmas Morning. Might have been great otherwise.

Item has a good feel to it and excellent upgrade to previous version. Arrived quickly for store pick up and packaged well. It works well for all of the drawing apps currently in use on Ipad. Very pleased with this purchase.

Only works with the newest pad

I had no idea that it would not work with anything except the newest ipad that was just released a month ago. I feel like that should have been made clear to me. I returned it and found the original apple pencil elsewhere.

I expected more from it, but it’s just a basic stylus with Apple on it. Order a knockoff from Amazon, it’ll be better.
