Because the pencil links and charges magnetically in only one location on the iPad, be aware of what kind of protective case you buy (need to remove from case to recharge pencil on ours). Great tool for drawing.

Never will buy open box item from Best Buy. I got the pencil and it look like someone return there old one to the store. It was damage and it didn’t work I didn’t open the item after 15 days because it was for my son tablet that I was waiting for to come in. Couldn’t return the item to Best Buy because it was after the 15 days. Thank god I was able to schedule an appointment with Apple and they were able to give me a replacement. I hope they start at least checking items to see if they work before selling them. I purchased open box things before never had this happen to me so make sure you check your item right after you purchase.

I've used multiple active and passive devices over the years. The Pencil Gen 2 is seemless in terms of function.

Like a One-Week Love affair, it just Stops Working, Purchase and working on Oct. 28 but Died on Nov. 6th, couldn't even get it to charge, tried hard reset on iPad Pro (4th Gen.), it's ridiculous - but I even erase my iPad to original setting - then restore it, but Pencil 2 still doesn't charge or gets identified by its $1000 charger. If this thing transmits Bluetooth signal to iPad Pro, then this is dead, iPad Pro can even detect my DELL PN771M pen on my i7300-7319 inspiron and all other bluetooth's in range. I need to return for a refund or exchange but since I am travelling out-of-State, I keep getting an error getting a UPS printed label - I can pay for sending it, but hopefully Best Buy will contact me for a return goods authorization.

works just like a pen/pencil. Didnt think i needed it but now i cant use my ipad without it! Highly recommend

The pen comes in handy when I need it. Most of my time is spent on other programs where I do not need the pen

Good but wish it had sane features as the 2nd Generation one. Kinda poor on Apple part.

The pan works pretty good but the battery life doesn’t last very long.

Necessary accessory for iPad. Just wish it had some sort of locator built in. I keep misplacing them...

This pencil paired with the new iPad Pro and PaperLike screen protector really makes it feel as close to writing on paper as it can. Excellent sensitivity and response. Love this and the new iPad Pro 12.9.

The pencil is phenomenal. The problem I have is that there are not many applications where it can be fully utilized.

Another high quality apple product. The pencil easily integrates with the tablet and lets me draw and write.

The summary should speak for itself but if you feel like spoiling yourself, this is definitely a good choice.
