I puchased an open box item in excellent condition the apple pencil usb. The pencil was from the display ar best buy. Yes it was in excellent condition hower the apple usb c charging port was NOT in the box. So although i saved 9 dollars of brand new i cant trust i will get everything i need with open box purchases in the future.

I thought it would be an great improvement from the first gen but it really isn’t so don’t waste your hard earn money on this pencil. Apple could have done more to this but they didn’t. The battery life isn’t twice as good as first claimed.

I have used the pencil some. my penmanship is horrible so i do fight with it a bit. Do not drop it. I did and it gouged the end made it harder to use.

About 3 days, the pen stopped working. Attempted to re-pair it and finally sent to Apple and they provided me a replacement. Old and new pen keeps dropping from it's charging station. I end up leaving the pen off the ipad.

Incredibly misleading packaging. The package states it works with iPads which have a magnetic pencil connector. It does not work with my daughters iPad pro. To make matters worse it was purchased as a birthday gift and we discovered it isn't compatible after the return window. The store told me there is nothing they could do and informed me I should purchase a tech membership for $200 to be eligible for a longer return window. Terrible customer service.

Only lasted 2 in a half months. Not worth it. I spent some good money on it, to only go to the trash after. Now my daughter can't use it for drawing anymore.

The Apple Pencil is an excellent addition to my 12.9” iPad. It is very useful in making notes in my musical score.

I have no idea how to use this or with what apps. You would think it has utility to underline or highlight iBooks documents but nope. PDFs don’t work. I think the surface pencil is probably much more user friendly. A waste of money

The second generation pen is a really nice step up from the first generation. Still learning how best to use it.

Very responsive and reflects my writing ability to a tee, which isn't very good, but it is faster than typing.

This item seems good, but no instructions or info on what apps it can be used on, how to change colors, etc. Instructions would be nice.

I like this pencil. Can't wait to learn all the different ways I can use it. The magnetic hold is very strong.

The one I received has a dent on the tip which makes it very hard to use sometimes. You have to angle it just right in order to use, but other than that i use it to design my photos & decorate shirts.

Cool idea but breaks too easily. This got dropped (fell off the magnetic bit while being carried and broke after that maybe 2.5-3 foot fall.

I wanted to love it but they have to be connected to the iPad 24/7 otherwise the battery messes up. I bought it twice and they both stopped working after a couple of months

Love this pencil it’s very responsive, I love using coloring apps with it, works like a real colored pencil.

I’ve gone through 3 apple pencils for the same reason, it just stops working all of a sudden, it Best Buy’s fault I think apple just doesn’t expect people to use this everyday. My wife draws tattoos out and we’ve had to replace 2 already, one was out of warranty so we’re on our 3rd. I would recommend a warranty because they seem to go out between the 6-8 month window but thankfully apple has replaced it twice before that.

Pretty cool accessory for niche uses, the price point made me want to vomit.

I was hoping this would assist with hearing the tv more clear since im hard of hearing. But it wont connect or stay connect via the app.
