The pencil lasted less than 3 months. Now I have to mash the pencil so hard the that I’m afraid it will damage the screen

Only reason for the poor rating is because I got the wrong one for my iPad. Be sure you check the one you buy and make sure it works with your device.

I’m so disappointed at geek squad I went into the store and bought an iPad and hey Apple Pencil any let me buy a pencil that does not work with that type of iPad never once said anything or nothing just let me buy it and walk out the door it was a waste of time unfortunately I was really looking forward to using that pencil I ended up returning it

This pen was exactly what I was looking for. It charges with no problem on the side of my ipad pro and works as described.

Like the fact that there is no cap like the older one.

Terrible purchase! The tip was so used that it was slanted. Hardly worked after screwing on a new tip. This must have been given to a toddler and mistreated, dropped on cement a dozen times a day. OR...Apple made a crappy product.

Not worth it, it is expensive and not useful that much

Have barley had this for 6 months and it's not working now. This is very expensive to just seem like a disposable pencil. I'm not certain how to even get it exchanged. If I do get an exchange will it die in 6 months as well?

I ordered the most recent Apple pencil for my daughter's ipad Pro 10.5". I would never expect such a relatively new ipad pro is not compatible with the new pencil produced by Apple. Is apple out of its mind to make such a product that is not even compatible with its own product released just a few years ago? That is just insanity on Apple's part! Enough said!

Returned this today as this is damaged! First time I had to return an apple product as it was not functional. The ads show the pencil as smooth to use, but it was surprising to see the pencil not writing at all sometimes even after repeated repairing with the iPad, For now I m happy to use the human finger touch option rather than the so called gen2 pencil !!!!

Other than the ease of charging it is very hard and inadequate to use.

Very disappointed! Mine quit working within 4 months after I received it. I am Very Dissatisfied.

Majority of the time whichever site I’m on the pencil doesn’t work, tap of finger and then works perfectly.

If I knew the limitations I wouldn’t have purchased it. I thought I could use it for all apps but nooo. I big waste of money for me. I wish I would’ve done my homework beforehand.

it broke less than a month after and before that the tip broke

Poor quality. Dropped and tip cracked unable to replace. Had less than a year!

The pen only worked for few days and stopped working for no reason. I tried everything possible to make it work and no luck. I call Best Buy and the technician told me to call or take the pencil to apple because there was nothing the could do. why sell apple products if they are not going to be able to help their customers?

I bought it because the guy sold me on it, but I'm yet to use it for anything. It seems kinda pointless having it.

Only had it for a few months, it stopped pairing to my iPad. My iPad stopped recognizing the pencil at all, I contacted the Avon location for Best Buy for where I originally purchased, the workers were extremely rude and not helpful at all. Now I’m stuck with a pencil that doesn’t work and I’m out all of that money. Thanks for nothing Best Buy, I will never shop here again.
