Bad situation

I Bought the pencil for A LATE XMAS PRESENT and later it stopped working but my son never said nothing. 6 months later I ask him about why he is not using the pencil and he replied saying: I Took it to Best Buy 2 months after it stopped working but they turned me away because they said it wasn’t good and couldn’t send it to Apple and without a reason. I know My son doesn’t know better about these things(returns and stuff) so he just left. Yesterday I asked him about it he told me the whole situation and of course I am upset. I wish it would been me. How can you tell someone in your store can not help. I know he is young and don’t know better but taking advantage of the insurance or whatever. It’s not right what y’all did.
