If you like to handwrite things. Perfect. If you need to mark up your chord charts because you are a musician and you use your iPad for your setlist (me). WONDERFUL. This is the first time I have EVER used something like this. So easy to get used to.

Light weight while being sensitive to pressure and another favorite part is the "wireless", magnet charging

I use it every time I use the iPad and it is especially great for moving puzzle pieces because fingers and nails are not the best matches to do that. I recommend it to everyone and it is indispensable to me to use! Plus it magnetically attaches to the iPad so you do not have to keep up with it.

Works well if you need a precision

It is expensive and it is not backward compatible with older iPads. Those two reasons are why I am only giving it four stars.

I use this for digital art, note taking, photo editing, and even as a mouse for document editing. I love love love it. It pairs without any steps to the user, and the batter lasts and lasts.

Writes smoothly without skipping a beat. Have not had trouble of skipping a stride at all. Love the tap feature. You can change the command to it. I have it set to erase & write. Tap twice to erase, tap twice to continue writing. I also love the magnetic charge. Great product! Can’t be compared to others!

I had been on the fence about getting an iPad but using the Apple Pencil sold me. It worked much smoother than other stylus, and it has been great to draw with. The Pencil is probably one of my most used accessories of all time, because it’s perfect in terms of adjusting pressure and depth and angle.
