Do be careful of having it connected to your iPad at all times though, because I had it not touching my iPad for a while (few days), and then it was not working, so I had to buy another one. Other than that it is awesome!

I had the first generation one. The second generation has many advantages; it will charge quickly and always ready to go. I have been using all the time since I got it. Another great product from Apple.

There is competition so consider preferences, but I like the ability for it to charge off the iPad as much as I hate (quibble) it for draining the iPad battery just because it sits there.

Best Companion for iPad Pro

Great accessory but not for kids!

Kids iPad protectors don’t allow for pencil to charge so you have to buy an external charger and my daughter never really uses it. But it is awesome to use!

I mainly use it for pdf’s that I download for conferences and I now have to ability to write notes in the edges. Great little device for note taking. I’m sure it’s great for art work too but I cannot draw to save my life. Overall I really like it. Self charges which really saves in remembering to manage that too.
