I've used the Apple Pencil for basic navigation on the iPad, taking notes in a notes app and using it in a photo editing and coloring app. It has worked great for all of these uses.

Pencil for the IPad!

My son showed me if I tap the flat side with my finger twice the font can change, or the color will change….. It recognizes both our handwritings, which shocked me. Great gadget to have!!

Even better than the first pencil!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Now it charges wirelessly just by magnetically sticking to the side of the new iPad (which by the way is strong enough if you are wondering - with normal, every day use it will just stay there) and you can change brushes, etc. by tapping the side. Super useful and it just works well!
