Charging through induction at the top of the iPad is so much more convenient than plugging the first generation in to a lightning port. Stays firmly attached to the iPad while in transit, just make sure to get a case big enough to carry them together!

Works great and makes it so much easier taking notes. My kid plans to use this for college.

Excellent stylus. Works great with my ipad. This one was a replacement--my only complaint would be that it would be nice to track them from your phone or ipad.

The apple pencil works great with the Ipad Air. My daughter uses them to do college assignments and notes.

I’m a Surface person, I’ve used the Surface pen for 3 years. Recently decided to buy iPad to have an extra device and had to buy the pen. It was a bit to get used to, it’s very sensitive. I find myself having to switch back to ink a lot because it goes to eraser mode often. Other than that, it’s okay! I like that it doesn’t need batteries and it charges while connected to the iPad.

This is new to me being able to use the apple pencil. i recently bought the iPad pro and it works just as well as any other writing utensil. I was pleasantly surprised how much i like it.

I got the Space Grey IPad and Apple Pencil, easy to use, small enough for small bags, fun to draw on, pencil I could do without.

Absolutely a wonderful product could be used for a multitude of things with the iPad and expensive I’m glad I bought it and the way it sticks against the iPad and charges at the same time is a wonderful way to use it

Genuine pencil feel in hand. Convenient charging thru magnet contact with iPad Pro. But just really expensive.

Great pen but it didn’t fit with my case. So it don’t offer my no purpose I did return it.

The Apple pencil is a nice tool to have if you plan to take notes or scribble with. It also can be used instead of your finger. It easily connects via Bluetooth to your iPad and charges magnetically.

Critical accessory for the iPad Pro models. I've bought other aftermarket (non-Apple) pencils - none of them have the same functionality or range of control the Apple-made product has.

Better than the first. The Matte texture makes it easier to hold in hand and having it stored and charged on the iPad makes it even better! I had first gen and was always loosing the adapter to charge and the glossy pencil was slippery.

I wasn’t sure how much I would actually use the pencil since I got along fine without one for so long. However, after purchasing I use it all the time and would be lost without one now. Funny how that works... Conclusion: if you have the money to spend, get one!

Pencil is great and does all that I need it to do.
