Better than the first

I have been hands on with both and the 2nd generation is far and away the better of the two. If your device works with 2nd gen, don't even give it a second thought.

It feels great in your hand, it even is magnetically sticks to the top of the IPad so it doesn’t get misplaced when not in use.

2nd Gen Pencil is a great improvement

I recently upgraded my iPad and decided to update the Pencil as well. The new pencil is greatly improved. Charging and pair works by proximity and it’s so easy.
