works great make sure you get the right one for the right gen i pad

The new way to connect the Apple Pencil to the new iPad Pro is just attach it to the side. When the pencil is not needed for some things, just place it back on the iPad until you need it...easier to find it when you need it and not get lost.

This Apple Pencil feels like real pen and paper. Easily clips onto the side of my iPad and is ready when I need it. Makes taking notes, photoshopping and many other things super fun and easy. Highly recommend.

I think an apple pencil is essential to all iPad users. This particular apple pencil (2nd gen) is very good for note taking, drawing, and completing different tasks. I love it and I would recommend it 100%

Great item for an artist. I’m starting off and so far it helps so much better than my finger would on a touch screen trying to draw straight lines. If you have the money I’d say go for it.

The gen 1 Apple Pencil works with more iPad models than this one...but the gen 2 pencil is so much better in the form factor department. No more keeping track of that tiny cap (gen 2 doesn't have one)....or having to buy additional adapters or cables - or having to decide whether to charge the iPad or the pencil (gen 2 has magnetic charging; so there's no need to "plug into" the lightning port). Functionality-wise gen 2 is the same as the gen 1. Whether you should buy this or not, comes down to whether you have the latest iPad Pro or not. This thing works only with the new iPad Pro....and the new iPad Pro works with only the gen 2 Apple Pencil. In other words, if you have the new iPad Pro and want a pencil, this is pretty much the only thing you can buy. But it works great. All that matters.

The pencil response is so much faster and the feel is much nicer than the last pencil. I like that you can charge it on the iPad but it can get in the way and there is no spot for it on most cases without making it extremely bulky. I like the double click response for switching between pen and eraser, however, it switches on it’s own sometimes which is extremely annoying. All in all, it’s a good product and I definitely recommend it.
