Great addition to my iPad Air 2022, ease of use & a top tier investment

The gen 1 Apple Pencil works with more iPad models than this one...but the gen 2 pencil is so much better in the form factor department. No more keeping track of that tiny cap (gen 2 doesn't have one)....or having to buy additional adapters or cables - or having to decide whether to charge the iPad or the pencil (gen 2 has magnetic charging; so there's no need to "plug into" the lightning port). Functionality-wise gen 2 is the same as the gen 1. Whether you should buy this or not, comes down to whether you have the latest iPad Pro or not. This thing works only with the new iPad Pro....and the new iPad Pro works with only the gen 2 Apple Pencil. In other words, if you have the new iPad Pro and want a pencil, this is pretty much the only thing you can buy. But it works great. All that matters.

Flawless product, easy to write with and charming magnetic charging

So far so great! No issues to report. Works great and my child is super excited when using daily. Would highly recommend for children who like to draw!

This generation is incredibly simple to setup and the quality of the device and ease of us in multiple apps or programs makes it a must have for creatives

Pencil is great and is a useful tool when drawing and taking notes.

Very well to use gets the job done. So smooth and light in your hands.

The pencil response is so much faster and the feel is much nicer than the last pencil. I like that you can charge it on the iPad but it can get in the way and there is no spot for it on most cases without making it extremely bulky. I like the double click response for switching between pen and eraser, however, it switches on it’s own sometimes which is extremely annoying. All in all, it’s a good product and I definitely recommend it.

This pen works better than the other compatible pens. Great quality.

Great pen. It does what it is intended to do. I cant say if it is an better that the first gen because I have no experience with the first one. It holds a decent charge.

Got this to pair with my ipad pro and works amazing. I can draw and make great presentations with it.

Perfect companion to the 4th gen iPad Pro, its a shame that you have to buy it separately. But what else would you expect from apple. With that said it’s a must have if you do any type of media work.

Apple Pencil 2 works great at what it is used for. This was my first time using this product and I was blown away by how good it works in comparison to the last time I tried a digital pen (A very long time ago).

I absolutely love the pencil! At first it may seem like a novelty accessory to some, but this adds real value to the iPad. I purchased both the iPad and pencil to delve more into digital art and for drawing it is absolutely essential. It’s also great for writing, especially if you still like to take handwritten notes, but want to cut down on the paper. The shortcuts on the pencil are very helpful and it’s amazing that it has pressure sensitivity. So far I have been using the pencil directly on the iPad screen and have not found it too slippery and it doesn’t seem to be causing any issues for the glass either. We’ll see how this goes after extended used, but so far I’m so happy with my purchase!

Love this pen!! It adds to the functionality of the iPad taking it to the next level!! This pen has additional features that the previous generation did not have!! Definite must have!!
