Scratches and no palm recognition were my main pain points. I have had none of this issues since purchasing. Thanks to the associate in the Apple section for making this process super easy!

Improvement over first version with some quirks

The ability to clip it to the iPad magnetically for storage and charging is a nice feature however in every day use I find that the magnetic adhesion is not strong enough to hold the pencil in place while in a bag or backpack.

I use my iPad for taking notes and occasionally drawing pictures. The ease of pairing along with tap-to-switch option for writing and erasing are excellent features. Easily my favorite iPad accessory.
