It works really well! My wife bought it for her iPad, but now I want my own. It feels and writes just like a real pen.

I use it for taking notes and for drawing in ProCreate. I owned the original Apple Pencil with previous iPads, and overall this one is definitely an improvement. It does exactly what you hope it will do, and the magnetic charging and attachment to the Pro/Air is great. If you're on the fence, I'll say this: Apple charges ~$100 for a lot of accessories, and I think this is worth every penny. You can't say that for everything they make! Just buy it!

I got this as a gift so i cant really say how it works but i do have the first gen apple pencil and i do love it so i probably love this one also.

I got the iPad Pro and had to get the pencil senice I’m an artist. Haven’t had any problems with it and love how you just put it on top to charge.

I'm no artist, and I didn't purchase this with that primary intent, but the level of granularity in the pressure points is astounding. There's a seemingly limitless amount of customization when it comes to creating brush strokes. Aside from that aspect, I use the pen for various games that benefit from a more precise cursor than just my finger, and it delivers as flawlessly as I would expect.

Works perfectly on my 12.9 inch iPad Pro. Be careful with the tips tho they can damage easily.

this is optional tool. it is not required to enjoy the iPad pro. BUT if you got the iPad pro and you want to write out notes during class instead of typing, this is a must have tool. If you are an artist and you sketch out details, this is a must have tool. it easily stores on the side of the iPad pro via a magnet. excellent pressure sensitivity when drawing. it feels like a real drawing tool. pair it up with with one of the many drawing apps AND you have the most ideal artist's tool. procreate, iPad pro, and apple pencil 2 is a must have!
