I loved this pencil. I previously had the pencil pro but for my personal use this one is just as good and is compatible with the older model ipads so it suited me perfectly.

It protects the iPad so well. It has a very nice pencil holder as well. The only problem is the kick stand that you need to take the cover off to break the stand down. All in all very happy

Outstanding Product! The Apple Pencil 2nd Gen is a game-changer for iPad users. Its precision is top-notch, ideal for artists and note-takers. The magnetic charging is super convenient, and the double-tap feature to switch tools is a huge plus. While it's on the pricey side and only works with specific iPads, it's definitely worth it for those who use their iPad extensively for drawing or writing. Highly recommend!

I thought the iPad was complete on its own—until I tried the Apple Pencil for note taking at work. Now, I can’t imagine using one without the other. What makes it special isn’t just the technology, though that’s impressive. The instant pairing and magnetic charging mean it’s always ready to go. The matte finish keeps it comfortable during long sketching or note-taking sessions. The double-tap gesture feels like a small detail, but it changes everything when you’re in the flow. But the real magic is in the experience. Taking notes in class feels faster than typing. Sketching concepts for work feels natural, with zero lag. Even marking up PDFs or editing photos is smoother, cleaner, and somehow more enjoyable. It turns the iPad into something bigger than a tablet—it becomes a sketchbook, a planner, a canvas, a creative studio. Yes, it’s pricey. But instead of feeling like a splurge, it feels like an investment in creativity and productivity. The Apple Pencil 2 doesn’t just enhance the iPad—it unlocks it. Five stars.

My daughter loves the new Apple Pencil. She says it’s lighter and feels more like a pencil then the original pencil. She loves the tap feature, the fact that it charges while resting on the iPad, and the accuracy and smoothness of the writing.

I love how easy it is to use this right out of the box. The magnetic charging on the side of the iPad is also quick and seamless. The weight of the pencil is well distributed and doesn’t tire your hand whatsoever.

The Apple Pencil is much improved easier to hold and the Wireless charging works great. I use it to take notes, color and draw and as a stylus/mouse. It was definitely a worthwhile purchase. My only complaint is that it is a little expensive.

Works great with the new ipad air. love how they added the flat side so it doesn't roll off desk, and it attaches by magnet to the top of the ipad. very sensitive on the screen and weighs just like a real pencil.

Huge upgrade from the 1st generation pencil. Clicks and charges right on your iPad. It is fun to sketch and draw with it. Definitely recommend to anyone on the fence about getting one. It is not a necessity but it is functional and fun. Docking a star because the price should be a little lower plus it would be nice to have an eraser function on the other end but it is still worth getting and recommended.

As someone who spends a lot of time sketching, writing notes, and planning digitally, the Apple Pencil has completely changed the way I use my iPad. What impresses me most is how natural it feels—like holding a real pen, but with so much more power behind it. The pressure sensitivity and tilt recognition make shading and drawing feel fluid, while handwriting in apps like Notes or GoodNotes looks cleaner than anything I’ve tried with other styluses. Beyond creativity, it’s also practical. I can mark up PDFs for work, sign documents in seconds, and even navigate my iPad without leaving smudges all over the screen. The magnetic attachment and wireless charging are small details that make a big difference—I never lose it in my bag, and it’s always ready to go. It’s not just an accessory; it’s become an essential tool in my daily routine. If you’re on the fence, trust me: once you try it, you won’t want to go back.

Honestly, I was more annoyed that I "forced" to buy a 2nd gen Apple Pencil after upgrading my iPad Pro. I already owned a 1st gen Apple Pencil, but changes in design/charging forces you to upgrade. It functions much like the 1st gen, but I like that it charges by connecting to the side of iPad. I also like that you can tap the side to change features of the pencil. I'm just tired of giving Apple all my money.
