Write your thoughts right on the screen with your technical or schematic sketch. do trial math the way you are used to doing at see your work! I'm not really an artist, but the drawing tools let you be very creative.

After first buying the Insignia Crayon we decided that we wanted the real Apple Pencil without opening the Crayon. A little bad advice got us to buy the Pencil II for our iPad Pro 10.5 inch and after attempts to pair failed, we found out that we needed the first edition Pencil. I do not like having to plug it into the lightning port on the iPad to charge it is easily damaged like that. They did include a female to female lightning adapter so you can charge with a cord. I could see this adapter easily getting lost, so I taped it to a cord and designated that cord to the pencil. It did pair right up with our iPad Pro and we were in business quickly.

WORTH IT

This matte textured stick that happens to respond to contact on an ipad helped me take notes and STORE IT at one place instead of losing it left right and center. But for students that are on a budget, get a logitech crayon.
